If you in any way want to improve your sporting or physical performance you should consider coming…read moreto Balance for one of their classes. I have been training for years and my workouts can occasionally get stale. I do an open Industrial Strength Class and I leave pumped, feeling awesome and full of new techniques. You can be doing anything from fluidity and flow exercises, kettlebell conditioning, strength circuits, mobility, sandbags, heavy bag, tyre and sledgehammer, towing ropes, bands etc etc... What is great about the session is that the majority of people there are athletes in some form or other. This keeps the sessions intense, engaging and you are pushed to the limit. Whether Jon is leading the group or we are all adding to the circuit, not a single class has let me down. It really doesn't matter if you are a martial artist, power lifter or gymnast, the way the sessions go means everyone can take something from it. For a truly inspiring workout, in a great studio that has EVERYTHING you need to push beyond what you thought you could, you have to try out Balance. Oh I should mention, the Industrial Strength class costs an incredible £3. Wow!
Another great program of strength and conditioning. You can't go wrong with this place!read more

I've been privileged to have some brilliant massages around the world, but I can honestly say that Stan is one of the best. The verb "to be Stan-ed" is well established in Bath and the world of sport! Or is that just in my world and that of my friends that I've referred over the years?! I think I've been being Stan-ed for the last 3 or 4 years, and I'm so happy he's still operating near Bath! Anyway, don't take my word for it, try it for yourself, you won't regret it. BTW the glove factory is a great location - easy to park, really lovely dog walks and great coffee too. What's not to like?!
