I was able to book an apt at that other building just this week. I really appreciated her help.

Amazing end-to-end relocation service…read more We began our relocation in November 2019 shortly after my wife and I decided to relocate from Seattle to London. London Relocation had very positive reviews all-around and we have a very good first impression. The team was there to help from the initial intake until well-after we moved into our home. The company has a defined process with in-depth housing requirements to ensure they find the right homes, neighborhood and school district that would suit us the best. They searched and brought back a large (25-35) list of properties meant to give them better insight on our preferences. With all of this being done virtually, they took great care in returning a final list of properties, each one they toured before presenting to us. We short-listed about 5-7 homes and Shanti conducted detailed video tours of each place. They weren't pushy and didn't rush us to decide. On a few occasions, they slowed-us down to ensure we chose the right place. They went back to specific properties to conduct follow-up virtual tours. They made it very easy and helped with handling all the negotiations. It seems they have relationships with, or know, a majority of the letting companies in London. After finding "the one" house in Richmond we truly couldn't pass-up, they helped put an offer together, gave guidance on how much to offer based on the market and made it happen. We ended up choosing the house in Southwest London with all criteria being met, totally exceeding our expectations. They handled the check-in process and while we had to address a few unforeseeable maintenance issues with the property, they made it very easy, working on our behalf with the letting agent, to ensure all post move-in items were addressed to our satisfaction. I'd recommend London Relocation, especially those relocating with family and/or kids. They worked diligently on our behalf to ensure all our needs were met and that we were 100% satisfied. -The Rankin Family

The Sales Manager, Caroline Watkins, always went the extra mile to help us finding a good buyer, even when the first accepted offer fell through because the buyer changed his views on the property. The Sales Manager was able to provide us with a second good offer within less than a week, which eventually ended up with the sale of the flat. The office has quite a big team, so even when she wasn't in the office herself, there were always other members of staff ready to help. The agency has a good understanding of the local market, is reliable in terms of quoting on the property they will be dealing with, and have good managing skills. As we had already moved out of London, they had the flat cleaned for us and opened the flat to en electrician for some minor works. They had a copy of our key all the time and they have been always happy to assist us. All in all we have been really happy with them, and a special thank you goes to Caroline for her competence, flexibility and availability, particularly as being the Sales Manager she could have put someone else less experienced on our sale after the first months, but she kept being involved personally all the way through.

I worked with Globe Apartments for a "short term stay" from mid-October to mid-November 2012. For…read more30 days I basked in the glory of a rather comfortable flat a few blocks from my office at 49a Chiltern Street. The only contact I had with Globe Apartments was the day I picked up the keys, which went very smoothly. In and out. Though no one really told me where to go (and after flying overnight and taking the tube for an hour, a bit of direction would've been very welcome)...but I found my way. Of course the day I arrived the lift was out of order, but by a stroke of divine intervention one of the building supers graciously hefted my heavier bag up to the floor where it did work and then got me where I needed to go! Bless him, all the staff I encountered were very friendly. So, this review is for the units at 49a Chiltern Street, as it were. The building has a lift (quite helpful as I was on the 4th floor!) and my arrangement came with weekly maid service, which was delightful. It wasn't terribly heavy duty, but nice to have the sheets changed and new towels...without having to worry where I'd find those items/do laundry, etc. There was also a washing machine and drying rack, and basically all of the creature comforts to make for a good temp stay. I even showed up to a bag of snacks awaiting me! Milk, OJ, cookies...a sort of strange mix, but hey...they were trying. A small fridge and kitchen was sufficient, and coffee and tea was available as well. However, Nnearby Nordic Bakery became my go-to for coffee and sustenance, but obviously this is very well located to Baker Street, shopping, dining, etc. Internet was great, lots of good TV, hairdryer, somewhat comfortable bed (comforter was super lumpy and mattress super springy!), clean, well appointed. What it lacked in size it made up for in cleanliness. Only complaint? The fire alarms go off all the time and the phone randomly rings at all hours. Not great when you are trying to work from home. All in all, a great temp place to stay and Globe Apartments seems like a legit operation. Would deal with them again.
