Edited: This is in response to Mark F below.. what ended coming out in therapy was that I was actually living in immense trauma because of emotional, financial, and sometimes even physical abuse. I was living with a total narcissist and Velina was able to help me get out of that and understand that my own children were suffering because of trauma from his abuse. He hid money while he knew I was completely broke. And when we split up my son ben was suffering and didn't understand why he wasn't loved as much as my youngest son and why dad didn't have picture up of him on his Instagram or at his work but did of his younger brother. He even said he didn't feel like dad was his dad. I had been struggling with telling him the truth and knew it was going to be time and knew it would help him understand. And didn't want to wait. Velina gave me insight to do so. I was scared to tell mark because of his violent behavior. I love that Velina checks in with my children to make sure they're doing ok and that if they need to talk to someone she is there for them. To me she goes above and beyond. And she does keep boundaries very clear. Mark is a very scary person and very in trustworthy person and what Velina did for my and my kids mental health saved me. And my kids. I'm sad that he could write such nasty things about someone who is so good at what they do for a living. Velina helped my significant other and I in many ways.
