MD recycle says they match competitors prices, that too is a mess, you have to call the competition and get their price and then call MD recycle and tell them what the competitor pays and then ask if they will match it, ugh, a time waster. Just take your stuff to Terrapin, they have an efficient operation and the same hours as the others. The staff there could not be more friendly. The staff that i have dealt with were both friendly and quick. Prices are competitive with other metal recyclers in are area. They are also far more comprehensive with metal theft clearance then what i have seen from others in the area. Not only do they take your license plate, but they also scan your driver's license / photo ID. The only thing i don't like is that they use the atm thing to disperse cash to you. But otherwise, until i find a reason not to, i think i'll be taking my scrap metal and aluminum cans here for the foreseeable future.
