The assistant Caden, greeted me and brought us to the examination room, where a young lady named Heather came and took the necessary blood sample. In no time, Dr. Megan entered the room and greeted me and Shelby Marie went crazy mushing on the Dr. The professionalism that the Veterinarian shows my pet is heartwarming. I always leave mindful that my little dog will be just fine because of the quality care that she receives. Thank you to Heatherdowns clinic for providing me such peace of mind. Thank you, Dr. Gardam.

The veterinarians themselves are wonderful, but watch out for the tech staff. We will NEVER take…read moreany of our companion animals back here ever again. Plain and simple: the tech staff HATES cats. If you ask them to perform a service, be sure that you are present to see them actually do what you have asked them to do, as they will bill you for it and not do it! They were asked to clean our cat's ears and they said they did but the cat's ears are darkly colored inside, not dirty. They were also asked to apply a topical anti-flea product, but instead of applying the product properly, they dumped it onto the cat's head, saturating her fur, and that made her sick - her ears and head were beet red the next day. My cousin who is a vet technician visited us that day to clean the cat's ears - they were FILTHY inside - and also gave the cat a bath to remove the irritating product from her head - all of her fur on her ears fell out as a result of THEIR over-application and mis-application of the product. MBVH charged us for the ear cleaning that they obviously never did. We were ripped off and our cat was harmed. Shame.

There's nothing but raving reviews so we decided to switch all our animals. Dr. Albalakousy is AMAZING! We are 100% glad we switched and understand why there is no negative feedback! One of our kitties has a bad liver problem so we've been to Dr. A 3 times this year already. She's had to stay a week and then 2 check ups so far after. Chancy has been on 3 different meds daily, she needs to be force feed through a syringe multiple times a day, and now we have to give her an IV every other day. He made sure we knew what we were doing, were comfortable with what we had to do, and that we had everything we needed and then some. He takes great care of our animals and we feel like he REALLY cares. That's super important to us. And on top of that, he doesn't outrageously charge you! Just as an example of how he really cares: We were in an exam room but you can see right out into the waiting area and a dog walked in and immediately collapsed on the floor. Our cat has a problem but not a life and death problem, so he excused himself, and went to check on the dog. He carried her to the next exam room and started taking care of her immediately because she really needed the help. Now that is a vet that cares. He came back and apologized but why apologize for taking care of an animal more in need? It was great what he did and it made us feel better about how he treats the animals at the vet. :)
