I had eight silk curtain panels dry cleaned in May, but due to many delays at my house with painters and health issues I did not take them out of the bags until August. After paying $110.00 to have them dry cleaned I was astonished to find them full of wrinkles and not able to be hung. I then began pressing them with my steam iron and they looked much better but not like new. Today I took them back and asked for an adjustment on the price. It will take me about 3 hours to iron the panels to hang. At first the girl said it was my fault that they were jammed in the closet and more than likely touched the floor, both not true. They did offer to do them over but I live 50 miles away and do not trust their quality control if they were satisfied with their first cleaning. I would not recommend Owens Cleaners but what other choice do you have in Paducah. I am going to press the other panels myself and take my dry cleaning to Morganfield. read more

I walked into the location at 1021 Kentucky Ave today to inquire if they do alterations or sowing patches on 3 uniform shirts I had. There were 2 women and 1 guy behind the register. I asked the gentleman if they could sow the patches on the shirts. He ignored my question and handed me a paper ticket dismissing me. I never requested the shirts to be dry cleaned to begin with. I then said I just asked a question and you completely ignored me. He rolled his eyes and said yes we can sow the patches. I then asked one of the ladies if there was another dry cleaning business in town because the gentleman was being completely rude with an attitude, she told me about Paducah Cleaners. She then spoke up and accused me of having an attitude. I told her I simply asked a question and he ignored me and rolled his eyes when I asked the same question again. She defended his rude behavior and attempted blaming his rudeness on me. Ridiculous! I left with my shirts. I then went to Paducah Cleaners and apparently Owens Cleaners called them before I got there and told them nobody was rude and I was the problem. Unbelievable! Regardless the employees at Paducah Cleaners were attentive and nice and answered my questions. I would not recommend anyone going to Owens Cleaners if this is how they're going to treat customers. I will say my experience with Owens Cleaners in the past has always been met with friendly customer service but definitely not today. I've done business with them for years. I will be taking my business to Paducah Cleaners moving forward. read more

I have brought pants in to have the inseam taken up a few inches and they do an amazing job on my Oakley and UA pants. They have also done 7 suits for me and the work is top notch. I will always continue to use them for drycleaning and alterations. Excellent prices and quick turnaround. I wouldn't take my clothes to anyone else to have alterations done. I highly recommend them to all my co-workers and friends. You will not be disappointed when you see the finished product! read more
