Aztec moving misquoted the moving cost by 100% - the original quote was ~$400 for size of home being moved from - with the house being moved into 2 miles away from the home. Aztec Moving had three movers sent to the move - which it took them 9 hours; 1 hour of which was 'drive time'. 1 Mover did not leave the truck/driveway space the entire time. The entire move cost $900. Aztec needs to do a better job in quoting prices & also representing their work. I would seek quotes elsewhere & ensure the quality of work being provided. There are other moving companies that would charge less - and probably not need 3 movers / bill you for 3 movers - in the area. Wish due diligence was done in this scenario read more

Here is my experience with Aztec moving. The price is good, they charged by the hour, worked steady, and provide good value. The two younger men got out of the truck in masks, and were courteous and friendly the whole move. The boss got out of the truck without a mask in spite of seeing us wearing masks. When we told him he had to wear a mask he said, "I don't believe in that stuff." I said "Well I do, you're not moving us without a mask." He says "Well I won't be able to move you then!" and proceeded to call his boss at Azteck. He was about one second away from being fired and sent home when one of the young men pulled an extra mask from his pocket and gave it to him. He's also the guy who will be irritated if your wife can't keep from warning him a table has a loose glass top. Dude, you've got it easy. You just had to listen to her one comment. We selected this company because they were a few dollars cheaper than others in town. It was absolutely NOT worth the $30 or so. First, we were charged for time that should never have been. The owner did refund my money, but a week after I reported it. Also, we were missing parts to our bed frame. The owner promised me that they had searched every truck and he was not going to take any responsibility for the missing pieces. The next day, he called and stated that he had "lied" to me, that they had not searched every truck and found them. My husband had to go pick them up and make 2 trips as no one was there on the first planned trip. Mr. Cottrell states that he has multiple businesses and wants his customers to trust him and understands the power of referral. I did not find that in this company at all. Quite the opposite. Talk is cheap, and that is apparently what we paid for. read more
