We had a similar plan with a different company when we lived in the Kansas City area. The plan from Tonna Mechanical is half the monthly cost and the technician, Jamie, was extremely professional and thorough. In addition to going over our furnace in detail, he also checked our gas lines for leaks, inspected our water heater, and cleaned our air exchange unit. He also took the time to completely explain the air exchange unit to me, which I confess I did not completely understand. During the wrap up, he also explained that we were eligible for a rebate (once every two years) from Minnesota Energy Resources for having our furnace checked and provided me with the forms needed to obtain the rebate. It was an extremely pleasant surprise. He was on time, did his job, and treated us and our home with respect. I'm very pleased that I signed up for a Service Plan with Tonna Mechanical.

At ten after eight, I called to confirm we had the day & time right. We did and receptionist said they were loading their trucks but we're on their way. At ten after ELEVEN., still nobody showed. Called again and told them to forget it, thinking if I had to go to these lengths just to get them to show up, what kind of end result was I going to have? Doing the work myself now.

While those that answered the phones were professional, we were continually told someone would get back to us. That never happened. We continued to call as we continued to receive bills and still no calls back. We finally got a collection notice and tried one last time to contact them, but again got no call back so we ended up just paying our oversized bill. We're not sure if they are lazy or cowards that don't want to discuss this, but it seems like a bad business model to ignore your long-term customers. We will no longer be using Wencl nor will we be recommending in the future.
