We are from out of town and our family member passed away while vacationing in the area. The Hospital provided us a list of providers and because of the location and what we thought was a sound decision we selected National cremation. When we contacted them regarding services that were needed in the evening, we talked to an on-call service who took the information and said they would have a funeral director call us. We did not get a call until the next day with notification that they were essentially closed as they could not meet with the family the following day due to a planned IT outage to change their computer system. Their solution was for us to go online and fill out the needed paperwork. This was the most disgraceful level of service at a point in time when service compassion and caring should've been the upmost primary objective. When we went to transfer services to another crematory in town, we were told that they would hold our family member until their service fee for transporting from the hospital to their facility was paid. Mind you they are maybe a mile from the hospital where they picked up our family member. It took five stressful conversations and a threat for legal action before Michelle would finally release our loved one. With each conversation, she kept saying she would need to check with her "higher-ups". Upon asking to speak with the higher-ups that request was ignored. Michelle finally released our loved ones to the facility we wanted and we can move on. Again, if you're thinking of using this facility, save yourself the trouble, their lack of compassion, understanding and empathy for the families grieving their loved ones is nil. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and writing any other reviews that we can. No one should have to endure this kind of stress when dealing with the loss of a loved one. If you're looking for an alternate after reading this, I would seek out compassionate care crematory Korhey and his wife Laura are absolutely beautiful to work with!!!

The hospital she was at issued us a list of funeral homes in the area to assist us with next steps. We contacted National Cremation and burial yo set up arrangements. They would not meet with us last night to set up the cremation. With no mention that we would have any issues the mext day. So we contacted them this morning to schedule an appointment, and they informed us that due to a planned IT outage they could not see us in person, however they would take our information, and would see us another day this week. Given the circumstances, we couldn't put off setting up arrangements, and we notified them that we would be choosing another crematorium. After we made arrangements with another facility, the director contacted National Cremation to coordinate picking up my mom's body, and they I formed him they would refuse to release her until a 400 dollar fee was paid to them. Essentially stating they were holding her hostage.its illegal in the US for any funeral or Cremation facility to hold a deceased body due to unpaid fees. We offered to pay half the total, and they refused. So I eventually called them back and threatened to call an attorney and contact Florida state police if the next communication from them was anything other then them releasing my mother's body to the crematorium we had chosen. Eventually they called to notify us they would release her. But this place is extremely predatory, and unprofessional. And not only that, they are abusing grieving families by trying to hold loved ones hostage to get some sort of payment out of them. I wouldn't recommend anyone try to set up services with them. They don't care about the human beings that are grieving, or their deceased loved ones dignity. They only care about putting another dollar in their pockets, by any means necessary. I've seen better Moral Buisness practices from the local Crack dealer on the street corner.

That's what you'll get here. I feel like I'm on a first name basis with the funeral director, Rick, and (sadly) have him saved as a contact in my phone. He does a great job and is available day or night on his cell phone to talk/text about whatever questions you have. The service he provides is excellent. That being said, I am removing a Star bc it is so flippin' expensive and it really is price gauging. An urn here is $495. The exact same on on Amazon is $80. Their cremation services are higher than other places too and it's a pure profit center. It's frustrating because it's not like you have time (nor do you have the mental capacity) to price shop when a loved one dies, and you shouldn't have to! You don't have a choice - you either pay for a casket and funeral or a cremation and thy dictate with prices are. It's unfortunate how expensive these services are and how these companies are there primarily to profit off your misery.

I did reach out to them a few days a ahead to pre plan his funeral. Tee was a great help. Rick Perry was great at coordinating with the cemertary, and making sure we had everything needed and planned. The administrative staff was great too, getting the clothes for burial, and updating the online obituary for me. For such a heartache part of life, they were the biggest help.

However, the staff at All Faiths made the experience so much easier than I could ever have imaged it to be. I want to give a special thanks to Jarod, whom treated us like family and made sure both events ran smoothly. He made sure to keep us updated on every single detail from start to finish and was available whenever we had questions. I also want to thank Tabitha from the funeral home for treating my mother like a sister and also making sure the wake went exactly as we requested. This company went above and beyond for us and we greatly appreciate you! I pray that I don't have to any time soon, but we will definitely use your services if/when we have another loss and I highly recommend you to anyone who reads this review. God bless you all and thank you so much!
