Not only did they ruin our isle songs by not playing the correct ones, our first dance song was ruined, our intro song was ruined, his phone went off during the service and cut music from playing. He started our first dance and bouquet tossing song prior to even being ready. We had to ask him several times to turn music up as nobody could hear it. Not only was my father extremely irritated, But I had numerous guests approach me asking what was going on. I provided two spotify playlists which were not used, music was all over the place including rock breakup songs that we had never heard prior to the wedding. The dj apologized to me on one occasion and said no more mistakes, yet he continually made them. I reached out to the owner, Juan via email and phone call. He returned my call once asking me to call him back, and it has been a few days since I've heard from him. The DJ service really helps make these moments that more special, and unfortunately rather than enjoying our day, We were irritated and stressed the entire time. We paid $700 for a service that was less than unsatisfactory. I'm not sure what happened as I've yet to recieve any sort of explanation. I believe I should've recieved a partial refund for the major disappointment we endured, but the best I can so is warn others that this is probably not the route you want to go, and if you do, hopefully you dont have the same experience because nothing will be done to make it right in any way.

Ken is SUPER NICE, very professional, and totally willing to work with your musical style. My fiance and I had a fairly eccentric "please play" list, and a huge "please do not play" list, and there were zero problems with any of our selections. He was always prompt when replying to my emails, and patient with my questions (hey, it's my first wedding!). On the wedding day, Ken showed up with plenty of time to set up his equipment. He had no problems working with the church staff to organize cabling and power connections, and he did thorough sound checks beforehand to make sure that everything was working at an appropriate volume. The setup didn't take very long, so afterwards Ken hung out with me and my bridesmaids and ushers as we set up tables/chairs and worked on table decorations, and he even lent a hand here and there as needed. What a great guy! Ken and I had discussed some uplighting packages beforehand, and other than choosing a color for the indoor lighting in the reception hall, I left the rest of the aesthetic planning in his capable hands. When we all finally came through after the ceremony, I was totally blown away! Ken had set up this awesome lighting in the connecting hallway between the church foyer and the reception hall with dark blue lights and laser pinpoints of green...it looked like a tunnel into outer space (which was great, as my husband and I are huge nerds and he knew it). It was such a great surprise, and I was thrilled. I would absolutely recommend DJ Ken for any occasion. He is very up-front about pricing, and for the top-notch level of service that he provides, his prices are extremely reasonable. This is a guy who clearly loves what he does, and does his best work every time. Five stars all around!
