He gets things done, he tells you his plan, updates you on the progress and tells you like it is. Lisa sent more emails on 3/17/20 requesting more money for different services, we agreed to a new amount after a few more emails. After 3:00 PM 3/17/20 . More excuses from Lisa on 3/17/20 with her emails to us indicating banks may be closed and their supplies are difficult to come by, etc. I explained to Lisa there is no order that banks or closed nor are stores closed that seller paints and or their supplies. Lisa refunds me and refuses to work on my home, after I told her over and over to proceed with work, after she asked us multiple times if we wish to proceed or not. Additionally, I've been struggling with rot issues around a pool closet that wasn't all that well designed. I filed a request with Mr. Handyman and Chad (the owner) promptly responded. Once again, I found Chad and the whole team at Mr. Handyman to be fantastic. He listened carefully to the concern, evaluated the issues and came up with the most cost-effective solutions. He made sure he set expectations in advance of scheduling the work and carefully chose his people that had the right skill set to do the job perfectly. Speaking of the right skillset -- Steven, the lead technician on the job, was just phenomenal to work with. Have you ever met someone who just really knows their stuff and makes you feel at ease? That's Steven in a nutshell. He's worked in all aspects of construction and it shows in his confidence and the quality of his work. He kept me in the loop throughout the entire job and made sure I was completely satisfied. Additionally, I had relayed some struggles I was having caring for my elderly father, and he was a sympathetic ear - offering some advice and ultimately assuring me that he had my back on the house repairs so that I could focus on helping my Dad. With a simple email, I was able to send pictures and get a virtual quote. I added and removed other project and ended up doing an in-home estimate. The estimate was on time, professional, measured, and even spoke with my flooring guys to coordinate the job repairs. On the day of the job, Jay and Zayne (spelling?) were on-time, professional, and respectful of my home. They laid tarps down for all working areas and anywhere they walked. Once painted which I will do myself, everything will look perfect.
