Would probably give less if possible. The course is ok at best but acts like it the next course on the PGA tour. How exactly are we supposed to judge pace of play when clearly they don't csre enough to keep up the course (see picture shouldn't that tell me what time it is?) Saw people wearing jeans, people dumped ice by the tee box, heard more people yell fore at me than any other course I have been on, but the woman and the two older gentlemen are the issue?? We have played a lot of central PA courses and the staff was rude, it's over priced, and frankly it was not an enjoyable 18 holes. Never going back would like my money back.

Course conditions and atmosphere has changed for the better. Conditions are as good as any public course around now.

They are remodeling and they showed us a guest room that is in the process of being remodeled. So far so good, but we didn't get to actually see the finished product. We were told by Sales that all of the rooms should be updated "hopefully" by March 2018. Most people know that construction projects almost always go longer than expected, unfortunately. We were also told that this hotel will soon be a Wyndam hotel. This might be a good thing. My room was clean, There was a bluish colored stain on the floor (pen ink?) but no biggie. The water pressure in the shower was great! Although, my associates said theirs wasn't so great. The rooms have no microwave and no refrigerator in them. I believe it was an extra $25 for a mini-fridge. There was coffee, however. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine. Although it was set to 54 degrees and it didn't feel that cold. Ice bucket was found in the bathroom. Our meeting room was efficient, however, it was way too hot and when we asked maintenance to help with that he seemed to have a major attitude and the room stayed hot anyway. A last minute request for a phone with conference call capabilities was met quickly. On our tour of the property, the meeting rooms we were shown, in general, were dingy and dank. They smelled terrible and had bugs flying all over. They were very outdated and I would honestly be embarrassed to have our conference there. Not to mention that their prices were not that great. We had our last conference at the Kalahari in the Poconos for $10 cheaper per person and that included the water park! And we were told the renovations to the meeting spaces would not be completed by next May (our conference). The indoor pool looked nice and it is open until 11pm. The outdoor pool is huge and looked clean. There are a lot of lounge chairs there and a hut that looks like a bar. We were told they sometimes serve food and beverages there, but when the renovation is complete that will be taken out. The bar inside the hotel looks beautiful and sits right across from the check in desk. However, that is closed on weekdays. That alone might be a deal breaker for a weekday conference! When this place is renovated we would definitely consider coming here. It is in a great location close to just about anything, including two outlet malls and tons of eateries. Uber into Lancaster cost around $15. It has lots of potential.

We're in town for an anniversary getaway and I didn't want to go to the typical tourist places. So I arranged for my husband to do something he really enjoys - Golf! He's never used a golf simulator before, Mike was welcoming and knowledgeable. In a way, it feels a bit like "a dive" with its location and sharing the building and parking lot with the Tobacco Hut ... but really, it suits its purposes very well. Inside it's pretty utilitarian - it does what it needs to do. There was a seat where I could sit and watch my husband practice. It took a while for my husband to get used to using the simulator, but once he did, he enjoyed it. The two men in the bay next to us were helpful with offering a few tips when needed (thank you Tom & Henry!). Henry's comment "it's a great way to practice swinging in the winter". Since we're from out of town, my husband didn't have club with him. Mike allowed him to borrow a set. So, we're back for a 2nd day!

Each child was $7.50, and I didn't have to pay. There's also a local discount, which was a nice bonus if your local (Central PA) . The best part is that your kids get wristbands for all-day access, so you can leave and come back later. The wristbands were convenient, but not every kid loves wearing them. One of mine tried to pull theirs off, so that's something to keep in mind. The entire village is set on turf, which made it feel clean and easy for kids to run around. There are around 10 little houses, all filled with fun, imaginative play setups. Things do get a little mixed around from kid to kid, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. There isn't much shade, and on a hot day it definitely makes a difference. We stayed for about an hour, from around 11 to 12, and that heat was the main reason we left. Food and drinks aren't allowed inside the village for kids, but parents can walk around with coffee, which is a plus. There is a food and drink stand on-site if you want to grab something. The setup overall is super convenient. Bathrooms are right there, and you pay at the main mini golf area when you arrive. There are also extra outdoor games included, like giant checkers and tic-tac-toe, which added even more value without extra cost. Parking is easy with angled spots, and when we went it wasn't crowded at all. The location is also perfect if you're already exploring nearby spots like Choo Choo Barn, Strasburg Rail Road, or Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Everything is within about 10 minutes. There were a few bees and wasps around, which is expected for an outdoor space. It wasn't overwhelming, and it didn't interfere with play. This would be a great spot for playdates or casual meetups. The price is hard to beat, and it's an easy, fun outing for younger kids. I'd definitely go back, just aiming for a cooler day next time.
