A really cute low-key orchard. It's not as commercialized as some of the big ones, but the costs are lower too. A few friends and I spent about two hours here. Apple picking: $3 to enter, and then very reasonable prices per lb picked. They have many rows of trees and different signs and provide baskets and bags to pick. Farm animals: we loved that they provided food to feed them at $2/cup! We got to pet the sheep and lambs. They also have alpacas, chickens, and turkeys. They also have a cute shop with jams and other foods as well as a corn dog stand and a small park.

Nicely run u-pick orchard and farm store. Kids picked plums, peaches and pears. Actually 2 locations for picking and they give you directions to the other orchard area nearby. Alpaca, goats, ducks, sheep and chickens for the kids to see. We had a lovely time and it kept kids occupied for a bit. Fresh lemonade and corn dogs from a truck parked there, too.

This place is awesome especially if you have kids in the group. The staff is very friendly especially with the kids, unfortunately we couldn't go peach picking and they said the blueberry patch wasn't very full. There is an area for the kids to run around and play on. You can also feed the animals. They have turkeys, chicken, sheep, and alpacas. You can also do a wagon ride, they take you through different patches to see the drops. They said they do sunflower and corn mazes. We went to the cherry patchs and picked some cherries. Everyone had a good time. You can purchase different kinds of jams and also buy frozen pitted tart cherries to make pies etc.. I wish we were able to do more, but it's understandable that something didn't do well due to the harsh winters that passed.

This place was so awesome we visited twice during our week in South Haven. We were there in late August and picked plums, blueberries, and peaches. There were also some apples available to pick and sunflowers. They have a nice tractor to drive you to the far out orchards that they let use take an extra ride in because our 2 year old loved it so much. There's also goats, sheep, alpaca, chickens, and bunnies to pet/feed. There is a small playground on property and a store with some miscellaneous fresh produce and items. The staff was so friendly. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Eating through more of the peach basket - all mealy - some inedibly - so have to subtract a star since I don't think a farm should be selling those ever - hope this is an anomaly.

    Beautiful Peaches!!!

Ask the Community - Overhiser Orchards

When will the sweet cherries be ready to pick?

Sweet cherry crop is lighter due to spring freezes with only some picking on early varieties and heavier crop on later varieties like Hudson. Could be a couple weeks out yet but again we depend on weather conditions to predict dates and it has been… Read more

    Bumbleberry Acres - Fall 2025

Loved this spot! It's a classic Michigan blueberry farm but what sets it above some U-Pick spots to…read moreme is how easy and close everything is. Right when you park, you'll see a large area to buy goodies (pies, cookies, produce), you'll see animals to pet, and then blueberries to pick. We went in late July and the berries were abundant (and delicious). We definitely tried our way through some favorites and then picked entirely too many. We ended up eating most and adding tons to blueberry pancakes over our vacation weekend in South Haven. Can't remember the exact prices but cheaper than I've paid for berries all summer, I know that much. And we ALWAYS have blueberries in the house. Also loved the super sweet blueberry lemon sugar cookie that they had in their shop, and felt welcome by the friendly staff. Lastly, speaking to how close everything is both on the farm and off; this is quite close to downtown South Haven when driving, but still feels way out in the country. It's a perfect combo, IMO, and we'd come back again and again if we lived near here.

We have been coming to bumbleberry acres for 3 years now. We love picking blueberries, playing at…read morethe park and finishing the day with a ride on the tractor barrel ride. When we arrived today we were pretty bummed that bumbleberry changed how they run the farm. We used to be able to give everyone a bucket and then the blueberries would be weighed and we would take them home. Now, be prepared to pay 12 dollars a bucket(you get to keep it). It's not the same experience when you are walking to the fields and the entire family needs to share a single bucket. We also adored the low key barrel ride. I believe it was about 5 dollars a ticket in the past. Now, you must pay 12 dollars per child plus 5 dollars per adult to watch your child play and go on a barrel ride. The petting zoo, bumbleberry chair, tire castle, everything is gated off. We passed and noticed most families did the same. This would have cost our crew 45 dollars for one ride (two toddlers, 4 adults). What was once a quaint family farm now feels off. We will be picking somewhere else next year.
