I had an issue with a wooden double garage door that would open halfway and then reverse. Another…read morecompany immediately quoted over $2,200 to replace the entire door. I contacted Neighborhood Garage Door, and they were able to come out within 30 minutes. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem as a structural issue with the top section of the door rather than the opener, springs, or tracks. He installed a full 16-foot reinforcement strut across the top panel, tightened all loose hardware, and even reused the existing reinforcement pieces by relocating them to the second panel for additional support. He could have easily sold me on adding another 16-foot strut for an additional charge, but instead recommended only what was actually needed. The repair was completed in about 30 minutes, the garage door now operates smoothly, and I avoided replacing the entire door. I really appreciated the honesty, fast response, fair pricing, and practical repair approach. Highly recommend Neighborhood Garage Door for anyone looking for a trustworthy garage door technician.

Daniel was the technician who came to my home and completed the work. Lara specifically told me that she would send the warranty information as soon as the work was completed. Unfortunately, despite multiple reminders, I have still not received the warranty. Now, to make matters even worse, my garage door has stopped working again and is not opening at all. I have tried contacting both Daniel and Lara, but neither of them is answering my calls or responding. This is absolutely unacceptable. If you are going to charge customers for a service and provide a warranty, the least you can do is stand behind your work and be available when there is a problem. Instead, I have been completely left on my own after paying for the repair. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. The lack of communication, follow-up, and accountability is simply pathetic. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to think twice before using their services. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.
