Gary and his crew were very professional and were very efficient at completing the task at hand. I was very pleased with the way they handled the safety of extracting the tree. The equipment used was phenomenal and capable. Everyone involved made sure to let me know what was happening and I felt very much relaxed knowing I was in good hands. On top of that, the price was fantastic for the work that was done! I am grateful that I was introduced to this company and that Gary was extremely skillful at his craft. -Evie

The crew brought in the equipment to do the job and clean it up and did so very efficiently. The 2 cedars were saved by uprighting them carefully using ropes and hooks that were out of the way and secure. Each critical step was reviewed so that there were no surprises before they started and if there were any questions during the process we were consulted before moving forward. Very happy with the crew and the results.

Not good to say the least! Prior to their arrival, the…read moreowner phoned to discuss the job and explicitly stated they would set plywood down on the lawn to drive upon in order to reach the trees they were trimming so the truck would not damage the lawn. He said that this was to protect my lawn. They arrived and did not put down any plywood and made deep, long ruts across my front lawn. The owner, Jeff, came by during the job expressing concern about the guys decision to forgo the plywood and stated that he was hopeful that my lawn would 'bounce back'. It didn't. The grass died and the ruts are deep. A few weeks later I called him to discuss the damage and he said he would fix it. That he had a machine for fixing this issue. He showed up with a pitchfork and plumped up the ruts. He told me to call him again if that didn't fix the issue. It did not fix the damage. The ruts remained and the grass was dead so I called again to explain the the damage to my front lawn was still in need of repair. A few days later his wife showed up at my house with a wheelbarrow and rake, and stated that it was my fault for letting the guys park there. She added that, at the time of the job I didn't seem worried about it. I told her that I wasn't worried, because her husband, Jeff who is the owner of Lombardi Tree Services had acknowledged the lawn damage in person that day and said that he would fix it! They never fixed my lawn. I paid $1700 to have them trim some trees and ruin my front lawn. Obviously, I should not have paid my bill until they had fixed my lawn, but to be clear, I never thought he was going to pull a stunt like this. Horrible experience for me and I would not recommend using Lombardi Tree Services ever as their customer service is horrible and they have left me lawn severely damage's.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but what happened with Nicholas Gardenscaping deserves to be called…read moreout. My neighbours hired this company for landscaping, and in the process, Nicholas Gardenscaping crossed onto my property and cut back my mature maple tree--right down to the trunk. This wasn't minor trimming; it was complete destruction. That tree took over 40 years to grow and, in a single afternoon, they butchered it beyond recognition. What was once a beautiful, full tree that provided privacy and character to my backyard is now a bare, lifeless eyesore. There was absolutely no attempt to consult me before cutting branches that were clearly on my side of the fence. Any professional landscaping company should know better than to cross property lines without permission, let alone do irreversible damage. This shows a complete lack of professionalism, basic judgment, and respect for others' property. That tree was a highlight of my yard and a natural privacy screen. Now, it's just a daily reminder of the careless and destructive work done by this company. While my neighbors have agreed to pay for a new fence to help restore some privacy, that does nothing to replace what was lost. Under new management, led by Zach Nicholas, this company appears to be both unskilled and unprofessional. I strongly recommend avoiding Nicholas Gardenscaping if you value your property and expect competent, respectful service.
