Choosing a photographer for our wedding was one of the most important decisions and we are so glad we chose Race and Jess of Outlive Creative. There are not enough nice words to say about Race and Jess and how fantastic these pair are as wedding photographer/videographer. From the very first contact, they were prompt in responding, patient, understanding and accommodating. Nothing was a problem and they were just a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. We also want to mention how lovely these two were on the day itself. They were calm, happy and genuinely interested in the two of us and our friends and families. They also stayed beyond their scheduled time in order to capture all the different aspects of the day which was so kind. When Race messaged me that the video would be ready soon, we got so excited (and also because it was sent the day before Dustin's birthday). Dustin and I watched it together and just cried because of how it was beautifully made. It was perfect! Every one who's seen it said nothing but praises and how it also made them cry. Our photographs are absolutely spectacular and no matter how times we have looked at them since, we always comment on how lucky we were to have Race and Jess. Thank you so much for all your help in making our wedding day absolutely perfect and in doing an amazing job at capturing all the very best moments of the day! You guys are truly the best! Proud to have talented cousins! We love you guys!!! read more

The hype is real you guys!! Race & Jess were a dream to work with. My husband and I hired them to capture our elopement in Mo'orea, French Polynesia as well as our celebration a few weeks after we returned. Let me back up to our first initial encounter. The Outlive Creative offices were right next door to our former apartment and we would walk by nearly every day while taking our pup around the block. When we got engaged a few months later I immediately got a hold of them through their website and was contacted within a day about setting up a get-together. We were welcomed into their studio where they made us lovely cocktails and walked through their portfolio. Not only did their work amaze me, but I knew instantly that these two people were meant to be the ones to capture our special day. They worked tirelessly to put together a package that fit our needs and budget and were so communicative about the entire process. Flash forward to our week of travel - they fly out a few days before us to scout out locations, understand the climate patterns and made sure there was plenty of time to shoot footage outside of our ceremony. My experience with them was so overwhelmingly perfect and I felt 100% confident in every suggestion they made. I can't express the gratitude I feel that these two ended up in our lives and if you are in the process of considering photographers/videographers, look no further...really. We are over the moon for the video and photos we will have to share with loved ones over the course of our life and cannot thank Race & Jess enough for being such a key part of our special day. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We love you guys! read more

We worked with Outlive for our engagement and wedding videography and photography. They are a great couple! Race found a gorgeous waterfall for us to take our engagement shots. We were allowed to bring our dog too! They are super laid back and easy to work with. We love the work they did. They have great prices and we even got a keep sake gift from them! Thank you so much for capturing these moments for us! We can't wait to work with them again for the next milestone in our lives. :) read more

I needed to pull together a quick turnaround, out-of-state shoot for a large client. Jess and Race at Outlive Creative did a fantastic job at assembling a crew and getting the job done right. We couldn't be happier with the beautiful imagery Race and Jessi created for us. We are so thankful that Google brought us together with them :) Jessi was our first point of contact and so easy to talk to and friendly. We enjoyed our initial conversation with her and knew right away that that we wanted Outlive Creative to film our top secret elopement! The work on their website was clearly gorgeous and we could feel the emotion in the videos and photos they captured. That is exactly what we wanted and they delivered. Jessi and Race are professional, personable and responsive. It was easy to communicate with them and they were so great about just going with the flow on the day of our wedding! They also did a great job at making us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Jessi was so sweet and even made me my bouquet 15 minutes before the ceremony! We cannot say enough great things about this amazing duo! They are both so talented and it is apparent that they love what they do! We are so happy with how everything came out and will most likely use them again the future! Mahalo to Jessi and Race! read more

As a photographer myself, there are moments when I need to hire another photographer to capture my own special moments, which is a very challenging task - as I'm picky and have really high standards. When I met Jessi, I LOVED her style and creativity. We became fast friends, and since then I have hired her to photograph myself with the love of my life, and the grand opening of my studio. Jessi has always pleasantly surprised me by how energetically she designs the environment she's in, and creatively gathers what ever materials are at hand to style her photoshoots. She's also really excited to bring and incorporate her own vintage props, she gets her hands dirty, and is determined to take your portraits to the next level. Jessi is extremely reliable and professional, I highly recommend hiring her for any of your photography needs, especially weddings - which are her favorite! First off, I have watched the video they produced for us multiple times, and cry everytime! I had the opportunity to Skype with Jess at the beginning of our wedding journey, and then met Race and Jess again a month before the wedding to make sure they captured everything we wanted based off of our feedback, and the attention to detail questionnaire they sent us. After our final meetup I didn't have a single worry when it came to what they would capture, and can say I didn't need to worry because they got everything I wanted and more. I love their style and way of cinematography and our video captured our wedding day in the most perfect way. It didn't miss a single thing. I am so thankful we got to use Race and Jess, their videos are top notch, I would highly recommend them for anyone - just watch any of their videos! Professional, high quality product. read more

Outlive Creative is fantastic! Race and Jess gave our brand tremendous guidance on our first big video effort, and they were patient as we were learning the process. I've known Jessi for a looooong time, but I'd never worked with her professionally until a couple weeks ago. She and Race were professional, creative, flexible, clearly skilled, kind and good communicators - what more could you ask?! Then they delivered a folder of shots that I was stoked about! I am totally stoked about our project together and would recommend them to anyone looking for creative image work! read more

Jess and Race were a dream to work with! They were so relaxed and accommodating--we felt like we were in good hands from start to finish. It was easy to trust them based on their beautiful portfolio, but also because they really listened to what we were hoping to capture during our wedding. Thank you both for your kindness and your amazing work. read more

Jessi has taken photos of friend gatherings and fun social events and more recently my wedding in a small coffee shop where my husband and I met, even with poor lighting she did an AMAZING job and the pictures are absolutely beautiful. She takes your ideas and her style and runs with it and the pictures are nothing but extraordinary. If the time had worked out she was my first choice for our vow renewal and I know the pictures would have been everything I see on pinterest and all the best magazines. I've also been a model for a couple shoots she's done for her portfolio and she is VERY pleasant to work with, very easy going and she goes with your natural movements and personality and in no time at all she walks away with pure art. Jessi is blessed with an amazing eye for photography!!!! I'd pick her to shoot those family portraits, family reunion pictures and key life event moments than anyone else. Your money is VERY well spent and you well get beyond what you pay for with her skill and gift. read more

Race & Jess were an absolute joy to work with! We loved having them at our wedding. The photos came out exquisite and the video was artistic and beautiful. Race & Jess are both very pleasant people and made us feel super comfortable taking photos. They were also extremely professional, as well as the contractors they worked with, and generous enough to stay late to take shots of the dancing! Highly recommend! read more

A videographer was one of the last vendors we added, and I'm so glad we did! We knew we would get amazing photos of our big day but really wanted a video to capture the essence of our wedding. We love watching our ceremony, speeches (especially people's reactions!), dancing, etc.! Race was extremely accommodating in making our wedding video! He was nice enough to make edits to our original video and resend the links when I neglected to download them. So grateful to have these memories on a beautiful video! read more

Believe the hype! Jess and Race do amazing work. We were impressed by their portfolio and absolutely blown away by our final products. We hired Outlive Creative to shoot our wedding photography and video and we are so pleased we went with them. Jess and Race were a pleasure to work with and helped guide us through the daunting process every step of the way. They made the trip from Portland, Oregon to our ceremony in Carmel, California and immediately jumped into action. They were totally in control and very organized. And most importantly, they captured our special moments in the most beautiful and breathtaking ways. Words can't describe how much we LOVE the photography and video that they produced. We highly recommend Outlive Creative and think the world of Jess and Race. We plan to use them again in the future and would gladly refer them to our family and friends. read more

Exquisite, epic, dreamy...these were all words that describe my wedding photos and video. To say this amazing team made my wedding what it was, is an understatement. Jessi and Race are a dynamic duo that took my dream elopement and made it real. These two are such a blessing from God and they ensured that the most important day of my life was fun and memorable. Finding a team across the country was very stressful, but after speaking with them I knew we found the one God placed before us. They have an amazing team that ventured out with us and I cant say Thank you enough. If you were like me and stressed about the biggest decision in a wedding, talk to them. read more

Race and Jessi at Outlive Creative were great to work with throughout our entire wedding-video process. They were extremely accommodating of our rather idiosyncratic requests, and patient with us even when we took way too long to write back to emails! Outlive created a package that fit exactly what we wanted - full tapes of the ceremony and toasts as well as a trailer. While other companies offer only two or three set packages, they were happy to meet with us and really understand what we wanted. Even after the wedding was over, Race was able to make edits to our video (in our case, turning the music down a bit in the trailer and sending a different angle for part of the ceremony). Most importantly - the video looked amazing! Race and the other camera operator definitely knew what they were doing and they worked with our DJ to make sure the audio was all captured perfectly. We highly recommend Outlive Creative for their professionalism and agility. read more

We hired Jess and Race to do our wedding video... I wasn't initially going to hire a videographer, but after seeing their work, I just had to get them do film our day and make a highlight film. It was probably the best decision I made (other than choosing the venue) throughout the wedding process. They are so kind that they even offered to rent us their home when our groomsmen air bnb cancelled last minute! Aside from their kindness and being so easy to work with, they are so talented! Our film is amazing and everyone who's seen it has agreed. I felt that we got a great value for what we paid and what got compared to other videographers as well. We had a family friend who did our wedding photography, otherwise I would have hired them for photography as well. read more

Not only does Jess and Race have incredible talent but what's even better is that they are both down to earth amazing people!! We were so lucky to have found them. Jessi is an AMAZING photographer. She is inspiring, talented and experienced. Her work is creative and capturing. Jessi is one of my most beloved friends of over 20 years. She is caring, trustworthy, and full of passion. I have seen her grow and flourish as an artist through the years. I have had numerous photo sessions with Jessi and have always felt comfortable. Jessi captured both a private wedding shoot of my husband and I and the reception. I cannot imagine not having those moments captured with the ones that mean the most to us. Jessi also a beach session with me, my graduation party, my bridal shower, and my parents vow renewal. I loved the way the photos turned out!
