Went there at 5:30pm on a Thursday ("open" per the online info) and they were closed. No message on voicemail and no sign explaining hours.

Wonderful fine in city of Duchesne. Great smoked meats done by the husband, while his wife runs the kitchen. Friendly team and great food.

The food is amazing, The Service is amazing,…read more The cook was so nice. he gives me all kind of spicy hot chilly sauce that he could find to suit to my description about chilly sauce (with no vinegar, or at least lesser vinegar product). Since I always have my meals with my homemade hot chilly sauce without vinegar at all. Especially with salmon or any fish. (I wish the salmon there accompanied with some rice), The fries are really fresh and not too mushy or oily. It's delicious! Oh, my customized latte was made perfectly (with just sweetened with vanilla and milk only (without any sugar at all). It was SO DELICIOUS!

Passing through on a slow Sunday morning, I stopped in for breakfast. The sign outside says…read more"Monday-Saturday" but they are open on Sundays too-at least they were when I came by. Huzzah! I found the ambience a little odd-no music and just an eerie feel to it. Maybe that's because I was sitting next to the kitchen and only heard the soft buzzing of a machine. Some old country music could have livened the place up a bit. There was a Christmas tree decorated in patriotic colors with a cowboy hat on top. The food was....ok. Not a ton of flavor. Service was friendly enough, but not overly welcoming. Maybe if you're a regular from the small town, you have a different experience. But just passing through, it was just ok.

Wild Sage Coffee House - $9.00 for a few pieces of pickles? it's good, but not worth for that price

What a lovely spot and so worth the drive to get here…read more Service = We had an such a lovely waitress. She was on top of everything we needed and got us our food super quickly. Even had a nice little conversation with her about the area. Couldn't have been more lovely and good at her job. Food = I got The Duke and the cheeseburger was so big I could only eat half. It was also so fantastic. Came with tons of nice sides and all the bacon you could ask for. The side salad was also quite lovely. We got the potato wedges and the onion rings as well and both we amazing. I'd recommend either of those sides and any of the burgers. The vibe = Thus place is so rad. It is a very popular destination for motorcycle rides and I can totally see why. I'm planning on a trip here this summer to check out the bar area more and also plan on staying in one of the rooms upstairs. Overall = This place knows what it is and has perfected it. It's hometown food with hometown service that has a vibe that is hard to duplicate. If you are close at all then check this place out. You'll not regret it!

I'm torn on this one. I understand that a small town is going to give a different experience than I…read moremight find in a big city, but I felt borderline unsafe here. My travel partner and I definitely stick out-we don't look like the traditional "small town, conservative" bunch, and I think that was noticed. The guy who waited on us had a look of disdain as he asked what we wanted and seemed to delight in telling us that our first choices were unavailable. We eventually landed on the "hot hamburger" since it was written up on the daily special board. When he brought them out, he literally dropped them on the table-I jumped, I was so startled-without a word. The plates had remnants of mashed potatoes on the sides-not sure if they were dirty dishes or just had some cross contamination from a nearby plate. However, the "hot hamburger" (which was an open-face burger over bread with gravy on top) was delicious. We both wondered if there was anything beside the expected ingredients in our food, but we ate it anyway. It really was good-I have to hand it to them for that.
