Blake tells you to just drive in and pick what spot you'd like. Blake is one of the owners, I didn't get to meet his Father but my understanding is that he is as friendly and helpful as Blake is. This is a family run business, has been for over 37 years. Blake had hand outs and was a wealth of information on all the sites we wanted to see. The laundry room was easy to use and air conditioned. Three washers and dryers, $175 each. Blake has quarters. There are long term residents there which I always appreciate as they keep an eye on things. It is a very safe city and right across the street is a Smiths food king and a great donut shop. Don't miss visiting the history museum in town too and walk around the grounds. Really well done. Loved our stay. Thank you Blake and family for making us feel so at home.

Other than that there are no amenities. There is no pool/hot tub, no showers/public restroom. she'll tell you there are laundry services you just have to give her a week in advance.... Yeah good luck with that. You'll end up having to drive the 30 minutes into vernal to do your laundry. The power consistently went out during our stay, so if you do have to end up here be sure to have a surge protector and hopefully you have a solar system/backup generator. You'll need it. The water seems very dirty, and will stain your sinks and showers even with a good filtration system. The water pressure is very high (not a bad thing really just not very good for camper plumbing) so also make sure you've got a regulator. Certainly do not make friends with anyone in the rv park, and certainly do not hang out with them. The owner has cameras pointing into just about every camp spot, (not a bad thing, just inappropriately used) watching every single thing everyone does, and then gossiped to me about what others staying there are doing that pisses her off and about how she is going to kick them out. Very odd and unprofessional way to run a business. The rv park always stinks because it's directly in front of a famers field (not the farmers fault that it makes the rv park smell awful, but they laid manure down in their fields every evening for a good month or more straight) it's extremely unpleasant to be outside, and of course there's always a LOT of mosquitos but that's a given being next to the river. this should be your last choice of an rv park if you're staying in the area. Beautiful campground with a playground, pool and store and very clean bathrooms. I talked to a very sweet girl when I called in the evening who helped us set everything up, and the gentleman during the next day was very helpful and even offered to help us with our hook ups. I was weary because our local KOA isn't quite as..... nice. Both in personality and in accommodations and this KOA in Lyman exceeded our expectations and showed us true Wyoming hospitality.

We are so glad we did not skip this wonderful stop. We had stayed at many other locations over the years, and this is by far one of the most beautiful locations to park our motorhome. The camp managers were so very friendly. I booked over the phone and spoke to the very nice lady to secure the reservation. Upon showing up, her husband was waiting to check us in and show us to our site. They only have 2 or 3 "pull through" sites, which we were given the end one on the end. There are others you can drive through, but if they are busy, these sites are actually back in sites and you may not be able to drive through if someone is using the other side. The site was relatively level and the utilities were easy to hook up. Our site had full hookups with 50 amp service to accommodate our motorhome. They offered a laundry room as well as restrooms with showers, but we did not use any of these. They were apologetic for leaves and branches on the ground near our site due to a wind storm that had blown through the night before. It did not matter to use because everything was so beautiful and well kept in spite of the storm. We will definitely return to this location when we are in the area.

The park was clean and well kept, firewood, ice and other items are readily available if needed as well as clean bathrooms and showers. The park is easy to access and move around for even the largest RV's which we didn't need, but there were plenty of other large rigs that i'm sure appreciated that. We did have a complaint from another camper about not having our dogs on a lease for a moment (our fault) and instead of that camper talking to us, they complained to the corporate office and they made the manager, Brandon come talk to us and he couldn't have been more cordial (he gets high marks in my book). I wish the other camper had just talked to us and avoided this, but that's the way some people are instead of working it out directly.
