Easy place to get into, lots of space and I love that they direct you with a cart exactly into your space. Overall though, this place is a little run down. Basically grass parking, basketball courts beat up and falling down, same with pool area and chairs. I don't expect much for the area though, and it worked for us.

This was our last stop along our cross-country trip from the East coast to the West coast. Initially, I had an issue with trying to get this reservation made because the KOA website wasn't allowing me to secure my reservation. I then called the campsite directly and spoke with the man in charge and he was friendly and helpful in helping me secure my reservation. When we arrived, it was evening and we were able to check into our spot super promptly. Our unit was a pull through with just water and electricity, however we had basically half of the campground to ourselves. I only saw maybe a handful of rigs on the grounds and they were all far from us which was interesting. We got the 10% off of our KOA reservation because we had a cruise America rental so our total was between 30 and $35 for the one night stay. The location is a little bit sparse and dry, and doesn't have a whole lot of personality to it compared to another KOA campground we stayed at on the way here along the I80. That said, it provided all of the things we needed for our overnight stay and was sufficient for all of our needs.

Nice RV park. Large, grassy sites. Clean! Nice playground and a great size swimming pool. Our grandkids throughly enjoyed themselves here. This was our third visit so that says something.

We stayed at the Lyman KOA and our host was named Clint and he was awesome (helpful and very nice). They have a well stocked little general store of sorts and the bathroom and shower facilities were also nice. Our girls 6&7 made friends with two other children and enjoyed the playground and we played some soccer. Would definitely stay again. A+ thanks

As a smaller KOA, with not too many frills, but as a stopover place for one night, this KOA is perfect! A little gem along I-80, this park was surprisingly nice! Our site #10, was in the water/electric only area. We actually thought it was nicer than the full hookup area! We parked on a nice grassy area. Was like parking on somebody's lawn! Very level and very quiet with tons of grassy areas for the dogs to explore, Staff was super! There is a nice heated pool and due to Covid-19, you had to select a time slot. This was perfect because we had the pool to ourselves for 30-45 minutes! A great idea! We camped at Lyman KOA in a Motorhome.

Full hook up section really rough. Can you picture your toddler on the slide without a helmet or sweater? Expensive but quiet. No cable and only able to receive 2 channels.

Favorite KOA I've been to. Really appreciated they were following COVID guidelines and still have the pool open too! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. They took our purchased firewood to our spot for us and even broke up a little for kindling. Not having the sounds of the 80 was great (it's still there a little but SO much better than other KOAs directly off the 80).

No road noise from I-80 a rarity for a KOA Most recent stay was 6/16/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. We're right across the road from the restroom/showers. It's an older 50's type facility clean & neat. Shower stalls are private with glass doors and very tight 3x3 I think - so is the adjacent changing area with a little stool/bench for seating, plus rubber floor mat for feet as you exit shower; includes a couple of hooks, but would like to see shelves added for your stuff. Also need hooks and shelves at the shared sink/vanity area. Updating the place including new fixtures would do wonders. This is Wyoming after all and is more of a campground, not an RV Park per se. Gravel roadways and somewhat roomy, level mixed gravel & grass site pads with picnic table; large pull through site can accommodate Big Rigs. Some staggered back to back ~ back in sites; grounds include rental cabins and clean swimming pool, and tent sites all on flat ground. We've been here 4 time now ~ and will be back

this koa is located between the rock spings and salt lake city koas. we came to this one because the others were full. but either way, we are satisfied. just as any other koa, the facilities and amenities are clean and well maintained. this koa is quiet and peaceful. their store is well stocked, and staff is friendly and accomodating.

Very nice!

We are so glad we did not skip this wonderful stop. We had stayed at many other locations over the years, and this is by far one of the most beautiful locations to park our motorhome. The camp managers were so very friendly. I booked over the phone and spoke to the very nice lady to secure the reservation. Upon showing up, her husband was waiting to check us in and show us to our site. They only have 2 or 3 "pull through" sites, which we were given the end one on the end. There are others you can drive through, but if they are busy, these sites are actually back in sites and you may not be able to drive through if someone is using the other side. The site was relatively level and the utilities were easy to hook up. Our site had full hookups with 50 amp service to accommodate our motorhome. They offered a laundry room as well as restrooms with showers, but we did not use any of these. They were apologetic for leaves and branches on the ground near our site due to a wind storm that had blown through the night before. It did not matter to use because everything was so beautiful and well kept in spite of the storm. We will definitely return to this location when we are in the area.

Would definitely stay here again! The town of Fort Bridger has a great historic park just 8 min walk from the RV park. Not a fan of the 10am checkout time, it didn't affect us but might be an issue for others.

We have never brought our RV along, and we found this park online and wanted to give it a try while visiting for the Wyoming Downs. They had online booking through Rover Pass, which made it easy to select your site type and dates of your stay. They offer the Good Sam discount on their nightly rate, also. Upon arriving, we just caught the park manager leaving the park. She turned around and came inside the office to check us in. We got a good site for our motorhome where we were parked on gravel with a nice area of grass to our passenger side for our pup to explore. Several of the sites on the east end are parking on grass, which we usually prefer not to do due to the weigh of our rig. Also, they warn you to check out and leave by 10:00 am if you are parked on grass because the sprinklers come on automatically and will soak down your RV and/or tent. Other gravel sites are full gravel with no grass available. There are also many trees along the roads, but they were not hanging too low to compromise our motorhome. The amenities available are a laundry room, men/women restrooms with showers, a playground for the kids, and some fun decor with antique farm items and a wishing well. They have a grassy area at the very back of the park for pets to utilize, and we walked back there one time to check it out during our stay. There are many longer term folks staying toward the back, and I noticed many of those sites are only 30 amp elec. I will definitely be back to stay again when I'm in the area.

This place offers full hooks up (water, sewer, electricity) with pull thru and back in sites,…read morecabins for rent, and tent camping. It is about 15 minutes away from Garden City and 15 minutes away from Bear Lake East. It is super close to Bear Lake North- it isn't on the water but the water is a 5 minute drive away. The parks charge an entrance fee- bring cash for the parks, no credit cards are accepted. There are paths to ride your motorized vehicles to the lake, and your bicycles. There is an extensive road for bicycles that is 45 miles long that is easily accessible from this park as well. The location is very open, and very quiet. Had it not been for the fires, the skies would be starry- unfortunately, the skies were covered from the ashy smoke drifting in from the Ca, Wa, and Or fires. We stayed in a premium back in site 15- it also had room for tent camping and came with a wood fire pit and three picnic benches. Why did I reserve such a large space? I don't know. My husband asked me the same thing- we enjoyed the space and the fire pit. The site was pretty level and easy to back our 29' (without the hitch, with it is 34') and we have slide outs on both sides (passenger and driver). The site was long enough to accommodate both trailer and our truck. They have communal showers and toilets. I only went in there to wash my hands. I noticed they have a dryer for use, paper towels, toilet seat covers, toilet paper and hand soap is provided by the owners for their guests. The showers are NOT free- they are coin operated (bring quarters) at $0.50 for 6 minutes. Very reasonable. There is a coin operated laundry room as well. I stuck to using our own bathroom inside our trailer because of Covid. I noticed a playground for kids, volleyball play area and a basketball court- good for kids to play. Check in time is 2 pm, check out is 11 am. We had some issues with our slide outs and didn't leave on time but the owners didn't give us grief- which was appreciated. Some parks can get very strict. This park is well maintained, lots of grassy areas- run by a nice family. It is also super close to the Minnetonka Caves! The trail to the caves is very scenic, with lots of trails to hike as well. I wish I knew in advance. We didn't have enough time because we only stayed one full night. The caves close for the season on Labor Day so if you're in town before then, I highly recommend that. It is also located close to Bear Lake State Park. The location is ideal for the north part of Bear Lake. Water is so beautiful. It was overcast so the turquoise color wasn't as prominent but I'm sure in the summer months you can really see the beautiful Caribbean of the west in it's full glory. We reserved online, but you can book it over the phone. The city of St. Charles has very a small town feel- lots of farms, horses, cows, and nice people. For those wondering about the measures taken for Covid- this town isn't really wearing or enforcing masks. For the record, when we visited in mid Sept, hardly any people. A lot of local restaurants were closed for the season. We visited during non peak times so social distancing was very easy to do. The cell reception was excellent- I have unlimited data with Verizon and streamed my shows and surfed the Internet with no problem. I didn't use the parks wifi so I can't comment on that. They do provide wifi for their guests though. We also brought our two fur babies. No official dog run, but lots of walking pathways to walk them on their leashes. We used our own doggie bags and threw in the main trash. Don't let your dogs do their business on the actual sites and tent area. I did not notice any breed restrictions here and they do not charge an extra fee. Just use your common sense and be a responsible pet owner. Overall, we enjoyed this quaint and quiet park.
