Simple fact I paid 800$ for a tattoo that all the colors are gone after a yr and the colors don't even match.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in early to have names added to a tattoo. They were busy and asked me to come back. When I came back a younger girl came up and said that couldn't add names to my tattoo. She then asked a fellow associate what he thought, who told her she could do it and tried to explain how. She did not comprehend. I showed her another tattoo and she said how bad it looked. LOL, I got it done there about 2-years ago.... She was VERY RUDE and really did not want to do it. I told her if she didn't want to do it to tell me. She then hollered GET OUT!!!!! Do not go there!!!!!!! Spend your $$$ someplace they appreciate you!!! read more

My friend and I went in for matching tattoos and Kyle overworked our tattoos. He went over mine 4 times and my friends 3 . When he was finished he didn't even clean it off he just wiped it with sani solution and put salve on it and was done. He left ink all over our foot. The words on mine are raised and scaring and the birds on my friends have lost color among other things. When we went in to see about a partial refund we were told that was just how foot tattoos were, which my friend has one on her other foot she has had for awhile that looks perfectly fine, how it was our fault ect.. They refused to take any responsibility for the mistake at all and wouldn't give any kind of refund. This place is very unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I've had the best tattoo experience ever at Outkast. Josh has been a wonder to work with, and he has done an excellent job giving me the tattoo I've wanted for decades. He drew my design according to my request (and made it better than imagined) and he doesn't drill into the skin like some tattooists in my past experiences elsewhere. The tattoo process was comfortable and, of course, sanitary. He didn't mind talking and joking, or just sitting in silence. My tattoo took 3 different visits which took a few hours each, and every time I started to feel uncomfortable with my pain level, he immediately stopped. The shop is well decorated to keep your eyes busy as you look around; there are TV's playing movies, shows, or anything you request, as well as music to keep your mind off the buzz of the tattoo machine. I fully recommend Outkast, and Josh, to anyone looking to get their first, or their next tattoo. Thank you so much! read more

Not my best experience with a tattoo artist to be honest. I will be up front that I had to reschedule once due to medical issues for my husband that were unavoidable, but I made sure to do it with plenty of notice and confirmed that he saw the message ahead of time with weeks of notice. Plenty of time to rebook the slot. The day of our appointment we drove up and waited 30 min after being told he was on the way, but came to find out he wanted to reschedule. Which is fine, my only issue was that there was no text or confirmation that we received the message (via instagram that didn't notify me, even though he had my text number and didn't use it to contact me) and instead elected to just not show up that day. Tattoo wise it might be great, but I wouldn't place a pre deposit again personally knowing the difficulties in communication and scheduling. Not very professional is my overall opinion I guess. read more

I wasn't even looking for a new shop.... I heard about this place from my son's dad, who happened to do some work with the guy that built the front door of the building! He showed me photos of the building...and the inside, and I immediately wanted to take a ride, simply to appreciate the art and love that had been put into this place. My sister and I just got matching tattoos at Outkast and are very happy with our experience. Sisco worked with us to design just what we wanted and even came in early so we could get it done while we were in town. Our tattoos look great and we got an awesome deal. After getting a pretty neat tattoo I notice after a couple of days that part of the tattoo was blotchy. I waited 5 weeks to get a touch-up. Now, it's been 3 days since the touch-up yet I see the same pattern from the original tattoo - blotchiness in part of the tatt. After this touch-up, I looked in the mirror and noticed that the tattoo wasn't really saturated, which is when I asked him again to give it another try (and he did). So, I got up without rechecking cuz I trusted he got it this time. I went ahead and tipped him again (not as much as I did the first time, but tipped nonetheless). Now, I tried to remedy this issue by emailing the "artist" Josh, on the issue yet instead of taking ownership he gave me an attitude and said I left satisfied though he said I needed to give the tattoo time to heal. So what is it? Leaving satisfied does not deem me to critique the tattoo or not waiting for it to heal? P.S. I waited 5 weeks and it did not change so common sense says if I see the same pattern even after hours and 3 days since the tattoo was touched-up then another 5weeks isn't going to change that. Will pay elsewhere to get it done nicely. read more
