Update:…read more Fundamentally, we told the provider (John R.) we were unhappy. He felt it was our fault because we expected bills to reflect a good job and the actual amount of time worked. John behaved defensively, childishly, boorishly. We would have happily paid for services provided. John R. would rather argue. John R. doesn't understand basic customer service. To support our statement that they rushed and didn't do a good job we have fifteen (15) separate videos indicating how much time was actually spent--48 minutes--NOT two or three hours. Even after requesting videos he was still rude, still defensive, still unapologetic. Basically, if you've got to PROVE why you're unhappy move on. Hard pass. ---Original post below I am leaving the rating unset for now. I always want to provide good feedback to invaluable service providers and to the community at large. This way great providers thrive and everyone else is aware so they can avoid poor service. The trick to landscaping is fees for actual service. Unfortunately, the workers performing the work can be seasonal and the quality of service can fluctuate without careful attention by management and company principals. The key is integrity and values. Can you trust the people on your property? Can you trust that your getting a fair rate or bill? Will you have to fight with the landscaper when you get poor service or do the bosses have the character to value your feedback. Fortunately in this day and age of the Internet of Things, security cameras, video doorbells, neighbors with the same take a lot of he the guesswork out of the "what transpired question". I am working with is provider for now. They aren't a cheap option, so we'll see if the quality is consistent and high enough to support premium pricing. More to come.
