Unfortunately, the end result is pretty rough due to a choice in materials that ultimately comes down to saving himself about 50 bucks by choosing very low-grade plywood instead of a higher-grade smooth version. (They didn't use finish nails either) Lesson learned to supply my own materials, but it seems he could have communicated the options to me, especially after I supplied some of the other materials that were supposed to be included in the quote. The job was done quickly and I can fix it but I wouldn't hire this contractor to do any finish work.

Bruce confirmed his availability for install beginning in late October at that time and we coordinated via email as that time approached. Bruce and his team do very great, thorough work. They were all very friendly and trustworthy. We are very pleased with our deck replacements and the dry rot pieces they both identified and replaced on our front support columns. Bruce also hung up our new address numbers for us at the conclusion of the project, which was a big help for us! We did not receive an invoice until the very end of the project (after 3 of 4 payments were made), but did receive one nonetheless. Despite this, we don't have any concern about Bruce and his team coming out to repair anything that should arise. Though, we don't expect that to happen based on the quality work they provided. Their focus is on their craft, not the administrative pieces of the business. OH MY GOSH!!!! So, I had purchased a house that had 3 porches that were literally falling apart and…read morenot safe to walk on. Well, two were not safe, and the 3rd, in the carport was icky looking AND made the carport too narrow to pull my car all the way up, so I wanted to do something, but i wasnt sure what. I found Alpha & Omega Construction on Yelp -and they had great reviews, so I contacted them. They responded right away and the next day Sam came out to look at what I needed and to give me an estimate for the work. He spent probably 2 hours looking over the decks and discussing with me and measuring and then left and said he would email me the estimates. I was really nervous because I knew that a project like this would be very expensive! a couple days later, his Dad, Alex, sent over the estimate. It was a great estimate, very fair pricing and so I accepted it. They started on the day I needed them to, however when they got here, Id had an idea about the carport porch. Originally they were going to take about 5" out and make it narrower, but I asked if they could instead pivot the whole thing so it faced the other way. Alex said, yep they can do that and gave me a good price on doing that. So then they got to work to disassemble both the front and back porches,. But then it started pouring down rain, so they said they would be back the next day. They showed up the next day and literally built both the porches completely, other than the railings!! And then the 3rd day, they finished those up and started on the carport. I didnt think they were going to get it done, but they did!! They worked until almost 7pm JUST so I wouldnt be left with an unfinished porch. And I cant say enough about what BEAUTIFUL work they do!! My porches look SOOOOO wonderful and are strong and sturdy and the little touches, like rounding the tops of the posts, make it look absolutely stunning!! I would call them again in a heartbeat!! I was thrilled to discover that they also paint houses AND all the little repair stuff that needs to be done (window trims etc) they are able to do too!!! Would be better if they would just have an old school answering machine... why pay someone, who can't do anything more than a cheap machine from 1995 (including not even able to answer where biz is located)? I gave up and went down the road to Mr. Plywood (they answered their phone during biz hours).

We needed two 12 x 20 foot pads excavated for our porta-buildings [carport tents] and graveled. We needed them to excavate and pre-pour work for our "Ag Buildings"; then we recently hired them again to reshape our drive, build three stone walls, transplant bushes, and landscape the area for the walls These two are a local family run business. The service and work quality is absolutely magnificent. We can not more strongly recommend them for anything you need that they can perform. We are so glad we hired them! .They not only did a great job doing the excavation and pre-pour work for our "Ag Buildings", they also did several small projects as a nicety. Then to top off being "local and neighbors" they brought by some cedar landscaping steps for us. We then needed our drive reshaped and three stone walls built. Bob and Lou were there again, promptly and with neighbor friendliness. The met us at a quarry facility and we selected our stone. For the recent job they then gave us an estimate which was far lower than we had been told by others. The three walls, drive reshaping, bush transplanting, landscaping, and the relocation of two porta-buildings for $6000.00 materials inclusive!
