I thought that was unprofessional as it would be irresponsible of me to go to a Dr's office and risk getting others sick. I asked for the fee to be waived and was told it would be. Today, 6 months later, I received a voicemail from Dr. De Moulin's office saying that if I did not pay my invoice TODAY, I would be sent to collections. Mind you, I had not heard a peep in the form of phone calls, emails, or mailed invoices up until this point. During a global pandemic when people are losing jobs and lives, they think it is appropriate to threaten collections on a $100 invoice wrongfully charged. I spoke with them about my feelings on this and Dr. De Moulin's response was, "If you schedule an appt today for another visit and continue care, I will waive the fee, but if not, you will be charged". I don't know about you, but I don't like to be bullied, so I paid the fee. We will not going back to this practice and I highly recommend you steer clear as well.
