We stayed at Outbound Sedona over Labor Day weekend and had a fantastic experience.
The biggest standout was the service. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great stay. I especially want to mention General Manager Gregg, as well as Sara and Mark, who all went above and beyond for us.
The hotel has been recently renovated, and the improvements are impressive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully updated, and we especially loved having a patio with a fire pit. The new resort pool is huge and has food and bar service, so it's easy to spend a good part of the day just relaxing there.
The spa was another highlight. My wife had an awesome massage and came away really impressed with the experience.
They've also thought of a lot of little things that are perfect for Sedona. If you're heading out for a hike, they have backpacks, trekking poles, binoculars, and other gear available for guests, which was a really nice touch.
The food was much better than we expected from a hotel restaurant... it's a destination restaurant, not just a place to eat because you are staying in the hotel! The flat iron steak with chimichurri was excellent, as was the beet and goat cheese salad, and the chorizo meatballs were spicy in the best way.
The cocktails deserve a mention too. We tried quite a few of the specialty drinks, and every one was excellent. There were a lot of unique ingredients and combinations, and you can tell their mixologist put a lot of time and thought into creating the menu.
Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back. The renovation has really elevated the property, the amenities are excellent, and the staff made the experience especially memorable. read more
