Food is always good. Cary our server was fantastic. Truly!! I know many times we've been here they can be short handed, so service can be iffy, but tonite was great. read more

Consistently the worst run outback I've ever been to. Lots of empty tables always full of plates and uncleaned. Old grease or grease that's too hot used for the bloomin onion. Have had to send it back every visit before stopping ordering it. Comes back looking the same the second and third time. Service is friendly , but that's about all that's consistent Outback has sure lost its edge anyway, but this location by far is subpar. The one in Simpsonville is far better. read more

i ordered a takeout dinner today and it was wonderful. tasted great, exactly what I ordered and cooked to perfection. Blanton, who took and delivered my order to my vehicle was polite and knowledgeable as I had an issue with the website. Great customer service. read more

Store #122 in Greenwood, SC Forgot to mention that the sandwich my wife had was half fat and gristle (cartilage, especially when found as tough inedible tissue in meat). She ended up pulling the meat? out and cutting off what was close to what appeared to be edible. Let's see if I get a response to this in less than 5 minutes as I did below from yesterday's post, which was definitely a prewritten answer: "Angelleca H. Service is everything... stop by the table and check-in every once in a while. If this was my business I would be sure to check with the customers on how their is going and put some basic rules in place for the wait staff. read more

Great place to eat and a great curbside boarding. Easy to pay with card and money. We always enjoy the food. It's delicious and it always impressed us. My husband likes a steak and I like the garden chicken dinner. We order on Valentine's Day because it's our anniversary too. read more

Some of the worst food and service I've ever had in a restaurant. This was at the Greenwood, SC restaurant. Brought a cake with candles as I (being a single elderly woman celebrating my birthday alone) wanted the staff to serenade me with a lighted cake for my birthday, which they didn't do, claiming that they didn't have any matches to light the cake and that some people don't want a big fuss over their birthday, but I told them I did! Food was greasy, one third of my lobster tail was missing and overcooked. Wanted to cut pieces of my cake for fellow customers but was not allowed to do so, but the staff took all of the pieces for themselves. Didn't deserve the tip I was forced to give them. I will never EVER go to that place again; NO RULES, JUST WRONG! Staff don't have a clue on how to celebrate people's birthdays or make people feel special and appreciated. They all need a crash course on how to be cordial. read more

Food used to be good, never ever been one to complain, the service is OK, but food came out Luke warm, my wife ordered mac and cheese and it was room temperature, and it took a long time to get our food also, and we have been here several times over the last few years, will never eat here again read more

The food was fantastic! Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. You can tell the chef was very good at their job. Our server Franchesca was the highlight! She had a wonderful personality and was ready to help with anything we needed. She was really working hard and deserves kudos! read more

I am back in Greenwood SC. I decided to go out for a steak and enjoy a meal . Well on this day I chose to enjoy sitting with a friend and take them out to dinner so that they can see what I do. I have been going around for a very long time. I have changed my name on Yelp, but I think I will stay with Food C. from now on. Food C. Stands for food critic I have cooked for many many years in different areas of the kitchen and today I chose to eat a wonderful porterhouse steak at outback steakhouse in Greenwood. as I walked into the restaurant it was a very nice beginning we were greeted, then taken to our table. The booths are a little tight I believe for someone to be comfortable in. a booth it should at least be 18 inches from the back of the seat to the table. That way when you're done you can sit back and relax a little bit and not be crowded by the table. Where are you speak to your friends across from you, this will also allow more pedestrians and their body types to sit on myself do not need this much space, but it is right to be comfortable for everyone and everybody shape now onto the atmosphere the rugged look of the tables and the wood surrounding is very quaint. We had a wonderful conversation and it was nice to look around no one to the food. The service was very good. She was on point she was able to answer questions that were asked about the meals and that's what I chose to have the porterhouse steak. It was very nice and I would say for the price I was pleased thinking that I might slice into it and it would not be to my specifications. I have to say that I was happy with what I had received, I had broccoli with potatoes and a side of french fries that were more like steak fries, but not as large and I was very pleased with the taste of the steak. The seasoning was just right, was not very salty and had a very nice taste for my palate when the meal was over we received our bill, the two of us together was $75 and then I added the tip. I will say all together the meal was enjoyable. The atmosphere was good, and the service that we received was well done at this location in Greenwood South Carolina. I will be visiting other restaurants around Greenwood in the next few days, so if you decide, I will have to say I do recommend this restaurant. The one thing that I do believe could use some improvement would be visitations by the staff to the restroom more often Restrooms should be attended at least every half an hour just to see if anything needs to be taken care of and I will give the stars of experience below so enjoy. read more

Expensive and the steak wasn't even cooked how I like it. Unlikely to go back for a long while. Greenwood has better places to eat for a steak dinner and cheaper. read more

The food was great but the service was extremely poor. My mother and I both ordered ranch with our meal. We didn't receive it with the meal so we asked again for it. The waitress brings us a little bit of ranch after we finished our meals. To add on, the waitress visited only t two or three times and we were left without drinks for twenty minutes. They weren't even busy. read more

Not too much to say. We ordered through Door Dash and our food arrived correct and presented well. Steak was ordered medium-rare and both were RARE (I didn't mind, but was too rare for my wife, who loves a good medium rare steak). Both steaks were too spicy from the rub/pepper they put on it. Again, I didn't mind, but my wife couldn't finish hers, even after needing to microwave it. Salads were good, potatoes were good. With a chain like Outback you know what you're walking into. It has the potential to be phenomenal - I've had some of the steaks come out fantastic before - but typically not the care to be. *Was happy with Door Dash quality and that it was correct, so I can deal with undercooked steak, knowing it's a risk anytime you order anything not well done.* read more

Food was good. The service was AWFUL. This used to be a decent restaurant. We got our food quickly then never saw our waiter again. We will not be back. read more

Horrible service !No refills waitress disappeared won't be back ever !aIt was my bday dinner and it truly was awful

My dad, stepmom and I ate here today. I ordered an 8 ounce center cut sirloin. When I got it, it was much smaller than the 6 ounce filets they order. Our waiter looked into it, and had the manager (I think) come talk to us. They made good on my order by giving me a 5 ounce kids sirloin free. Thanks you for the awesome service. Great customer service is sometimes hard to find. This Outback has it in spades. Thanks. read more

Prine rib sandwich was the best I've had but they use onion soup for aujus not to great as far as taste. Need to use vfc real aujus.

Amazing company to work with. Great staff and delicious consistent quality food. Love it here.

Ordered online with a pick-up time of 8:01. Received text at 7:55 saying order almost ready. Order brought to car at 8:36. Now I know why. Medium steak came back very well done. It took the extra 30 minutes or so to overcook it so badly. What should have been a good steak is now like shoe leather. read more

Outback Steakhouse - Steakhouses Near Me - Greenwood, South Carolina

We ate there last night ... the food was really good, cooked to order & professionally served. We had the blooming onion, center cut sirloin w/loaded baked potatoe & salad, & prime rib w/ coconut shrimp. Oh ... and as a bonus ... i forgot to pick up Debit Card ... did not miss it till I went to make a purchase this morning ... & realized it was missing. I immediately called the Greenwood Outback & they were holding it for me. I traveled back over there from my home in Laurens & showed them my ID to retrieve my card. My COMPLIMENTS & MANY THANKS to the Greenwood Outback!!! read more

My wife and I spend approximately $8,000 in this establishment every year. The food is usually great, but recently the restaurant has taken a nosedive. Service i no longer a term in their corporate vocabulary. If you're l looking for a great dini experience, go somewhere else. ~WNC~ read more

Service was great. We had a large party and she was on it. Good all came out hot and good. Taste was excellent. Very fast. We were a group of 20. One of the better Outbacks I've been too. Woman behind me had party of 8 and was seated directly. I confronted hostess about how party of 8 was seated before group of 2 got there before them and was ask if I wanted a large table . I said no that one of 20 smaller tables I could see would be fine and was seated quickly. Different time blooming onion came out burnt twice read more

JUST DO NOT EVER GO UNLESS YOU LIKE TO PULL A STRANGER'S HAIR OUT OF YOUR MOUTH LIKE SPAGHETTI WHILE EATING YOUR CAESAR SALAD. I have not had a worse customer experience in my 28 years of life! My grandmother said the same and she is 85! My family and I came in for dinner and I don't even know how to begin to describe the atrocity of our experience. One thing I will say is that Jamie, the head manager, was overly apologetic and comped our meal. Although, it was THE WORST free meal I have ever had. Here is a SMALL list of what happened: 1. The place was FREEZING. It is winter and 3 tables full of families were begging for heat . 2. The waitress started out by literally telling us she would be a bad waitress. After taking orders she asked that we not get offended if she did not return for lengthy amounts of time because she was busy. IN AN EMPTY RESTAURANT. Literally-- it was 35% full. 3. Our appetizers which consisted of soups and salads took 40 mins to come out. When they did my dad did not get his soup and they forgot to put dressing on my salad. FORGOT DRESSING. ON A SALAD. 4. Before my dad even got his missing soup, before I got my missing dressing and before my grandmother and mom could even take two bites of their appetizers ... our entree steaks came out. UM -- so our options are to pile everything on the table or send our "fresh" steaks to fester under heat lamps until some slow ass back there brought our missing food items?! 5. Finally, I got my dressing and after the second bite of my Caesar salad I GAGGED as I pulled a long blonde hair out of my mouth SPAGHETTI STYLE!!!!! Myself and my family are all dark haired. I was so disgusted that I couldn't even eat anything else and my mouth tasted like cheap hairspray. VOM-WORTHY!!!!! 6. Since we had no choice but to send our entrees back to fester under heat lamps, when we asked to receive our food from our disappearing act of a waitress it took another 15-20 mins!!! For her to bring out an already readied tray of entrees. AND my moms entree came with mashed potatoes and she ordered the mixed veggies. Her medium rare steak you ask? It was SUPER RARE. 7. My dad never got his soup and they even had the balls to bring it out after we had all had enough and spoken with 3 "super busy waiters" who had no tables and no customers, 1 food runner, 1 bus boy, an incompetent assistant manager and finally the sweet Jamie who was the store manager and was actually the only one who seemed to have working brains and a sense of customer service. This is not even the full list you guys! I CANNOT EVEN. And you should not even either. read more

It's not overly exceptional. It's not underwhelming. It just is. I've never had a bad service experience. Occasionally slow, but only on busy nights. They're always really nice. Prices aren't too bad. Same as every other branch. I've never been blown away by the food, but I've never been disappointed either. In essence: meh. read more

Most of the staff is very rude. I have ordered a filet and multiple times i have received a sirloin. Not wrapped up or anything just steak in a bag read more
