I took a bad spill at Jackson Hole and wrecked my ankle. It's either a broken fibula or a snapped…read moreligament (diagnostics pending). I called Western Medical Equipment to get crutches. The owner (Tucker) took my call and he was kind and helpful right from the get-go. When he heard my situation he even offered to bring the crutches out to my car so I wouldn't have to hop in on one leg over snow and ice. Very thoughtful. I decided to hop in anyway to see his place and it was a very nice, clean, organized store. I was there right after he opened at 9:00. We chatted for awhile and I could feel that his concern for my situation was genuine. He (very wisely) suggested a walking boot to restrict my ankle motion. I wasn't thinking about that when I went in, but now that another day has passed I can't imagine how I would have gotten along without it. I definitely would have injured myself further if not for the boot. Lastly, the prices for crutches and boot were more than fair. I can sense that this man is in the business of helping people and not out to take advantage of people's misfortune. I highly recommend Tucker and his store.

We called for two days straight at all hours of the day and never got an answer. We called both numbers too. We showed up and although the hours said it should have been open there was a sign on the door that said it was closed for a delivery. I left message and returned every hour for the next 3-4 hours and no one answered or gave me a call back, or opened the shop back up. There were multiple signs that that somebody was there in between each time I stopped by to check if it reopened. Not reliable. We ended up not being able to explore the area and we will have to figure out how we are going to explore the remaining trip.
