They definitely cater to more farm-oriented clients, so it is less commercial nursery and more supply store for those in the lifestyle of outdoors and farming. None of this is a bad thing, but just to set the expectation! The store is good sized and depending on the season features a lot of outdoor space fitted with plants, grass seed, accessories, rock, straw, piping, barrels, etc...Interior is a little of everything from clothing to gardening tools, mowers, grills, grilling accessories, housewares, decor, chemicals, animal feed and treats and much more! Once we understood what they offered, we were solid. We were after a bit more flower bed based items and flowers themselves, which was not really offered here. We did pick up a few seed packets and a grill brush while here, so all was not lost on the visit. Service was a tad off from expectation, as they associates were quite busy with each other and less interested in engaging customers, even during check out. Overall, solid spot when needed. I understand the need for and dependence on the Co-op. Once we add a couple of acres, I can imagine this being a more consistent spot for us!

Hendersonville Produce is a gem! I went in yesterday to get a healthy lunch and was surprised at…read morehow much their inventory has increased since the last time I was in there about a year ago! They carry produce, ice cream, milk, local honey, organic supplements and baking ingredients--even spices! They also serve breakfast/coffee and have a juice bar (which I can't attest to--yet!). I was more than thrilled to discover that they carry my new favorite protein powder, Vital Proteins, and that they also have a wide array of coffee creamer options that appeal to those trying to eat clean. Also, their quick salad/meal options and guacamole are FANTASTIC! They may be a little bit pricier than the grocery store, but in this case, you get what you pay for! I plan to make this a regular spot.

When I questioned the charge and asked to speak with the person who gave me the original quote, I was told she had already left for the day. What made the situation even worse was that she then came out from the back room shortly afterward. So not only was I charged more than I was quoted, but I was also lied to when I tried to get the issue resolved. Mistakes happen, but being dishonest with a customer instead of simply addressing the problem is unacceptable. I definitely won't be returning and would recommend others get everything in writing before doing business here.

Heed the warning- I recently boarded my 3 French Bulldogs at this boarding place. I chose them…read morebecause they seemed very friendly, the place appeared clean to the eye. They were there 11 days I believe. It was NOT cheap. I EVEN LEFT A TIP!!! Everything seemed wonderful. They bathed my pups per my request, they even came in after hours to let me pick them up. Here lies the issue. My pups have ONLY been at my house in my yard or at their boarding establishment. No walks elsewhere, No dog parks, No one else's house. NOWHERE!!!! About 7 days after I returned home with them, one had a spot on his back where the hair fell out/became red irritated/then dry & flaky. Only to find out it was indeed RINGWORM!!! I was supposed to board them again but called to cancel right away. I was furious!! * SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS * I battled the ringworm for about two more weeks. Thankfully his hair grew back & I got rid of it. I also prevented my other two from getting it w medicated shampoo. Fast forward another two week another of my pups tested positive for HOOK-WORMS!!!! Remember my dogs have not been ANYWHERE ELSE.... So now I've had to treat all my dogs for that. Thru the Dr that referred me their facility. I can assure you they did not have them before boarding here. I just had all of them checked before I moved here in September. W a clean bill of health. Please be warned. If you love your animals like I do mine ---- YOU WILL TAKE THIS ADVICE & go elsewhere!!!! There is no other explanation for these happenings. ZERO. I won't be back.
