The rude employee lady doesn't even say hi, she mumbles they are only taking online orders. Ok fine, go back out to my car and get my phone to place the online order. Every time I go (multiple times a week) it's new staff that seemingly hates their job. They open at whatever time they feel like it. The orders are usually made wrong. Their machines are constantly down, either the drive thru speaker, the card machine, or whatever else. Just a big inconvenience. Sometimes I choose a further location just to avoid the hassle of going to this place. They need new management who cares or to just shut down. Terrible. read more

I'm only giving three stars to compensate for the young guy who helped me out. The guy who took our money at the drive thru tonight 3/17 around 7:30-8pm was extremely rude. I can tell the guy taking our order was a little overwhelmed but he went above and beyond on my order. The guy working the drive thru asked us to park and wait for our drink. Then is when I realized that we only got charged for one drink so I went inside to order my other drink. I think the guys name is DeAnthony (it's on my receipt) but he's taller and has glasses. Anyway he was just so kind, patient, managed the stress well. The other guy working actually hit him with a cup and was speaking so ill and throwing comments about how he told me to go wait in the parking spot so why am I inside, and he was just being so rude to deanthony. It actually hurt me seeing the way he was treating him. Anyway, DeAnthony if you see this, just know your great service went further than you think. You made our smoothies so delicious and you were so kind. Management should really reward you or at least just give some praise. They have a good employee working this location. read more

Originally gave this store three stars before they revamped it. Before - They kept closing early at night - They no longer close early - thx. When it first re opened, I was again frustrated because an employee got an attitude with me when in the drive-through they had a small piece of paper with "cash only". I asked if they'd take credit and she said "can't u read the sign?? No! Come inside." They have since fixed that / they take credit card in the drive thru again - but they have to hand you the reader, which also asks for a tip. Maybe it's around getting a tip I don't know... ((I tipped)). Just take the card. Well, I went there again, and this time they refused to take my order because their "system was down". Whatever - I guess out of their control but what in the world?? Since the remodel it's been better, but I feel like there's always issues with employees here and an attitude problem. If you, for some reason, end up going to this already terribly rated location, just hope you don't have your order taken by a lady named Yiandria. She's rude and has no knowledge of what's on the menu. Her custom service skill is terrible. She needs a lesson in public relations or to be let go because she's exactly why I will never visit this location again. I asked her what items are Gluten Free because I have a family member who gets ill. She sighed incredulously like I was a nuisance and asked "what makes an item gluten free?" They very obviously premade these bowls and keep them in the freezer, slap on some toppings (which they were out of everything), and hand it to you. Smoothies are always on point and the staff is always really nice. My only complaint is the inside of the store is hardly open, forcing you to go through the drive thru every time. Went in this morning ordered a 20oz smoothie. Let's start from the beginning, the inside smelled like weed but okay, there were 4 people inside but the lights were off. So i walked up and they way they were looking like they were surprised I was inside so I asked if they were open. They said yes. I asked for a 20oz Peanut Power with extra cocoa and for it to be blended twice. While waiting i observed that the inside could use a little attention like a mop, glass cleaner and some soap and water on the surfaces Got my smoothie, left headed to work excited to enjoy my smoothie and it taste like water and cocoa. It was horrible so I guess I will chalk up my $7 for this cup of iced cocoa water. My suggestion is to not go to this location go to Jefferson St. or any other location this one has fallen all the way off. read more

I have attempted to give this location the benefit of the doubt several times since I live so close to this store. However, each and every visit has been increasingly worse, which has led me to write this review after what will by my final visit to this location. Several months back, I came through the drive through and was greeted after about a solid 2 minutes of waiting with an abrupt and rude, "what do you want?". I asked for a smoothie but to substitute the papaya juice it came with for orange juice instead. Audibly, a loud droning "ugh okay" came through the microphone. I also asked for a slice of banana bread. When I arrived at the window register, I waited again, for what was probably another 3-4 minutes before the associate came to the window for payment. Mind you, no one was in the store or in line ahead of or behind me. I was then handed a FROZEN SOLID piece of banana bread, and my smoothie was handed to me after the lengthy amount of time it took for me to stare at the frozen bread in disbelief. I asked if they would please heat this up or give me a new one, and the window was shut on me without acknowledgment before I could finish my sentence. This was horrible service. The second time I visited this store, chalking the last experience up to a one-time mishap, I came through the drive through again, where there was a sign posted that said the drive through window register was not operational and to please enter the store to order. Before I was about to drive to a spot, I hear a voice on the drive through speaker asking for my order, and I say "Thank you! I see a sign out here that says the register is not..." and again, rudely interrupted before I could finish, with "I SAID go ahead with your order." To which I responded, "Thank you, I was just making sure I could pay at the window..." There is clearly a sign on the speaker that says it doesn't work, so it would seem logical to confirm in my opinion. That, or the store should have taken down the sign as to not confuse customers. I get through the line to the window, and again wait for a good long while. The associate is making eye contact with me, and walking up to the window, let the smoothie sit in the window, and walking away several times before handing me the drink...WITHOUT A STRAW... She quickly closed the window, and walked steadily out of sight when I realized I still needed one. I try to call out, wave, and tap on the window, asking for a straw to drink the frozen smoothie, yet she never returned to the window. This was just *no pun intended* the last straw... If I were on the go, and trying to drink this smoothie in the car, it would have melted before I could get somewhere where I could find one, and that is such an unnecessary inconvenience. Much like the FROZEN banana bread that I had to take home to heat up in my toaster oven. Had I not been already going home that day, I would have been forced to either thaw it out on my dashboard or eat frozen bread in my car. I am seriously disappointed in the repeat terrible service and disregard for the customer and will continue to express my dissatisfaction with this particular store. Smoothie King has always been one of my favorite smoothie places, yet there is some dire lack in training and respect coming from this location. Do better. read more

I'm not surprised to read what I've read about the rude service. Last week, I mobile ordered ahead and arrived 20 minutes later. I knew my drink would be done. I waited at the drive-thru speaker, but one one answered. I drove to the window and no one came for three minutes. I honked my horn and no one came. I pulled around, parked my car, and I went inside. Not a single customer was in the store, and there were no employees. I saw my mobile order ready on the counter. I asked, "Hey there? Hello?" and the employee was HIDING BEHIND A WALL from me. I was concerned for her, so I asked, "Are you okay?" And she said, "Yes. You need to wait for me to talk to you at the speaker next time before you pull to the second window." I said, "No one answered, and I mobile ordered. I knew it would be ready. Is that why you made me come inside?" She answered, "Yes bc you didn't let me talk to you over the drive-thru speaker." So... I was being... punished?? Over an order that was already ready for pick-up? It was the most BIZARRE interaction I've ever had. She was so rude to me for nothing. I have tried TWICE to visit this location during its stated working hours and both times it's never open?!? I came at like 7pm and it was completely dark (Believe they close at 8pm). I just left at 8am on Saturday and after blowing my horn at drive thru and then at the window (where I see the fat guy moving around on the inside), no one even acknowledged me. This location has the slowest drive thru. I started ordering my smoothies online to pickup inside... some days they allow you inside and the next they don't. So after you've paid and ordered ahead, you still have to waste 25 minutes of your day in the drive thru. Forget about them even answering the phone. Just completely ridiculous. read more

I have been a loyal daily customer of smoothie kings throughout Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood and been happy to spend $8 on a 20 ounce smoothie, but I am not sure when they started requiring all their employees to get stoned before they come to work. Currently sitting in the drive thru wondering if I'm being punked. Like, throw back Ashton Kutcher level of is this happening. The person answering the head piece was picking up trash in the parking lot and told us it would be a minute. We could see him dragging his feet continuing to pick up trash with no intention to quickly finish up to take our order. Eventually he decided to head in and on his way he took our order. Came in and handed the headset over to another associate and said "someone in lane one wants to order" and did not put in our order. So we ordered again for the third time, repeating it twice. He then responded "yeah" when we said thank you and a third employee met us at the window and handed us the beautiful "clipboard" pictured. She was polite but the smoothie wasn't correct by any means, it tasted like straight ice cream. Green Tea Tango with Mango is a go to lunch at various other Smoothie King Locations and I've never had one like this. This is definitely not a real Smoothie King.
