Very European, colorful. Upscale & expensive, but beautiful merch. Bags, shoes, clothes -- a little of everything. Worth stopping in while shopping around Florence. read more

The employees are nice & helpful, but don't bombard you when you walk in like most small boutiques. Small selection, very few bags & shoes, but the clothes are the cutest & most reasonably priced I've seen in Florence. Think European Free People.

Their patterns and fabrics change with the seasons. They just had their one year anniversary and I hope they are around for many more! I bought a beautiful a wrap dress in a mustard yellow and blue floral print, reminiscent of the 70's that would rival any DVF pattern for 79€. An asymmetric thin cotton white/pink/mint floral top with ruffle sleeves for 33€ on their sale rack, a white lace long pouf sleeve crew neck for about 59€ and a black crewneck lightweight sweater with the complete back panel being constructed of a perforated scale pattern faux leather material for 46€. Great quality, unique one-of-a-kind designs for a steal! I told my BFF who was traveling there separately and she got some lovely pieces as well. Livia & Viviana are the store owners and lovely friendly small business owners. Will definitely be back to shop more!

Well of course, Promod is from France and it was nice to experience Parisian fashion, especially since I did not tour Paris on this trip. The prices are so-so. Kind of high end if you factor in the Euro exchange. There were also many sale racks but nothing in my size or to my liking. The clothes are similar to other Women's chains like Express or H & M for the more trendy items. The style is best suited for casual sophisticated looks and office wear. I'd love to go back with more Euros and suitcase space. In other words, this is store is filled with tourists and I fit right in. Not surprising though since this is a busy shopping street.

It is probably in the middle between H&M and Zara in terms of pricing and quality, but Promod has a really unique and fashionista style that I love about it. I stumbled upon Promod as we walk on this main street from the hotel and I knew I had to walk in. After forcing to control myself, I still managed to buy two items that were more than 50% off! I probably could have bought more, but my luggage space was limited!

If you want to find great brands and prices like this in NYC, you have to be prepared to sort through an unorganized store and it's like finding a needle in a haystack-- but not here. Everything is so organized, each clothing rack is in order according to sizing, even the shoes are organized, there's no clutter and the store is easy to walk through and find what you need. I could say "it's an Italian thing" for why it's so organized and neat since Italians are all about presentation and visuals, but I still have to give this store credit for keeping things organized considering the high amount of tourist traffic that comes through this area. The layout is grand and you can see how to get to each specialty department from mostly anywhere in the store without really needing to ask where departments are. The sales people are chill, they don't hassle you, but are available to help when you need them. If you're in Firenze and prefer to shop quality and designer apparel without paying full price, this is the place to come! After you finish doing your touristy things near the Duomo, come and visit just around the corner!
