    Question Period

First time at the new Ottawa art Gallery! I used to come here pretty often before renovations but haven't been able to make my way here as I don't get downtown much anymore. Wow they have certainly done a good job with the renovations. It's a completely different look and feel -- I feel like it certainly would attract many more young people now. The Bar: okay this bar is sooooo Pretty!!! I haven't been able to try any drinks yet but it's on my list Rooftop terrace: nice open space and beautiful on an evening out The cool part is the new addiction of a theatre where they are able to hosts guests - I went to check out the opening exhibition and listened on the question period with the audience and artist. Overall very nice modern art atmospheric vibe. Good for a stroll by yourself or a cute date idea. Did I mention is free? Donations are welcom

I love this gallery especially since they have jewelry from my favorite artist Anne-Marie Chagnon…read more Her jewelry is amazing since it gives you the power to change it. Maybe from a long necklace to a short one, or by reshaping a part. I went with a friend and she noticed pieces by a couple of her previous art teachers here and was excited. The highlight for me was definitely the jewelry. There were some really large striking pieces that would be totally unique to wear to an event. Of course they are a bit pricey, but it's art. The woman working in the store was really helpful and gave us a lot of additional information on the jewelry and how it could be changed, about the artists etc. She noticed my earrings and that they were by one of the artists also. This is one place I will visit soon when I have a special event to find accesories for!
