Our personal experience with Hanover East Paces has been fantastic from day 1. Actually it started…read moreway before day 1. Relocating from Paris, France and looking for a new place in Buckhead wasn't easy! Alan and his team made sure that we had all the information even thousand of miles away. Making Hanover East Paces home has been one of the easiest decision we had to make. The unit itself is wonderful and the location is very enjoyable. Living a couple minutes away from Buckhead Village (without being in the middle of everything and enjoy the quietness of the booming neighborhood) is wonderful. You get access to all the stores and necessities steps away from your door. The community is extremely pet friendly and you live right across the park which is wonderful when you have a husky that never gets tired.. The team is always available to help you, answer any question you may have or just say hi when you stop by the leasing office. Same goes for the maintenance team that is available and quick to answer when you encounter a problem in your unit. We would definitely recommend Hanover East Paces to anyone looking for a new place in Atlanta.

Once the site was cleared, the team and I reassessed our plan with the natural topography of the slope to confirm details and preferences. Everything fell into place seamlessly from there. I had a deeply unprofessional and stressful experience with this property before even moving in,…read morewhich says everything. I attempted to apply with the intention of moving in on January 1st. On the same day, I was informed that it was already too late and that the application or offer had expired -- meaning I could not move forward at all. I did not complete an application, and my guarantor never applied or signed anything. Despite this, I later received a notice demanding a $210 application fee that was never disclosed to me or to my guarantor at any point. We were never informed such a fee existed, that it was non-refundable, or that it could be sent to collections. Trying to charge and threaten pre-collection for a fee that was never disclosed -- after denying the ability to proceed -- feels misleading and exploitative. Communication was unclear, and accountability was nonexistent. If this is how things are handled before you live here, I can only imagine the experience once you're locked into a lease. Proceed with caution and get everything in writing.

The communication between management and the residents are horrible. Management fails 95% of the time to communicate to their residents when the elevators are down. The elevators are almost always broken. There is only one elevator that goes to the 8th floor and it breaks multiple times a week, which causes unnecessary tardiness and an inconvenience to my guests. The residents are loud, inconsiderate, and let their dogs use the toilet in every common area possible. Some residents have questionable guests who engage in criminal acts such as using drugs in the building (also around children) and steal from the parking deck (including my own license plate and someones car). Multiple units including my own deal with roach problems that don't seem to end. The finishes of the fixtures and details in the apartment and property are very sloppy. Don't move here. Don't.
