It was not lunchtime. The call went straight to voicemail. I called again several times, waiting several minutes between each call, and the same thing happened. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the doctor and had to go to Urgent Care. I had actually wanted to make Dr. Albritton my PCP from a while back, due to the positive reviews of the doctor herself. I was in the process of officially making her my PCP with my insurance when this happened. How incompetent can this staff be? No matter how superb of a provider Dr. Tiffany Albritton is, she is destroyed by the sheer nonexistence of her staff. If they do exist, they should be replaced with staff members who actually pick up the phone during business hours. If they don't exist at a certain point, fine. But for them to be absent for the whole duration of the period I incessantly called? I don't understand why any doctor would want to surround herself by staff that do nothing but bring her and her image down and create an aura of frustration and disappointment among her patients.

Prenatal care: Visits seemed extremely rushed, like she was always in a hurry, but she was never…read morerude. She was definitely nice, and always asked how I was feeling. She justified everything as normal, but agreed to prescribe me some heartburn medication since none of the OTC things were working, and mine was so bad that I couldn't even lay down without intense burning. She was empathetic when I ended up with a PUPPS rash, and gave me suggestions of things I could do to ease the discomfort. Since I had a scheduled c-section, she gave me several dates to choose from, which was nice. Postnatal care: This is where I have issues. The MFM had me on baby asprin since week 20, and I'm not sure if there was a lack of communication, but I was never informed that I needed to stop taking it prior to surgery. That being said, I ended up with pretty bad postpartum hemorrhaging that could have been easily avoided. I will say, I do like that she made my incision super low so it's not visible even with bikini-style underwear. She also put "everything" back well, so my abdomen looks defined at times because of how she placed everything. The nurses are the reason I skipped my 6 month postpartum checkup. I don't remember their names, but one of them was super rude to me when I called about my postpartum hemorrhaging. I even remember one of them being sassy when I would call in for questions while I was pregnant. It's also alarming that I skipped the appt, and no one ever called to check up. As bad as this sounds, I still haven't gotten checked out, but I plan on finding a different OB/Gyn and getting a very overdue postpartum check. Nurses make a huge difference in how the patient feels about a practice, and I have to dock off a star because of their service.

For example, I asked her to check a few things once she walks into the room and she does not remember to check until I remind her again before she walks out. She does not take her time to chat with you and see how you truly are doing (I especially value this because I am a first time mom and I am anxious and nervous about everything.) 2) Office staffs are not friendly but they seem to improve a bit after I sent a complaint to the main office. They are not patient in answering your questions and of course I had to deal with them on wrong billings. 3) Although I have never met Dr. Wong's nurse Rebecca, I already dislike her due to her phone etiquette. She makes you sound dumb and has attitude when talking to you. In summary, if you are looking for a passionate and personal OB/GYN, unfortunately I would not recommend Dr. Wong even though she receives good rating from the majority reviews.

Surprise, Surprise! Like a burn!! So, I went back a couple of times not getting anywhere!! Now when I call for an appointment to see just him. I get a phone call from Judy. During my visit I was told the nurse would call me shortly because she was heading to lunch with the insurance representative. I called back twice the same day before getting ahold of anyone only to be told a nurse would call the following day. I called the following day to follow up and was told to call back the next day after noon. During this call I was told the nurse would call me right back she was with a patient. I proceeded to wait several hours then called back leaving 4 messages before close of business and still didn't hear back. This is the only office staff I have ever encountered that is like pulling teeth to get anything done. It is a shame because Dr. Kazi truly is amazing and it's like visiting with a friend when you see her. She is so caring and listens completely (the appointments do take hours sometimes but she doesn't rush so I don't mind) but if you need anything outside of her directly good luck.

There must be some disorganization because some of my measurements were recorded inaccurately in the report at the end of my visit. I saw Dr. Ana Corteguera, who my parents also usually see. As a first time patient, I expected her to spend some time hearing my medical history but she rushed me through the entire visit. I felt as though she did not really care about my problems and just wanted to get me in and out of there was fast as possible. In fact, I even forgot to talk about something I had been meaning to ask a doctor because of that. Furthermore, instead of discussing treatment and testing options with me, she just chose the one that was the most convenient for her, which of course, happened to be the most expensive costing one for me.
