A Supposed Broken Femur Left Thigh. Then the Blind Sheep Following the Wolf Shepherd at UPMC then to Encompass. 17 days start to finish. Only to find out 3weeks later, NO such Broken Femur Existed & they were all wrong and Now I'm Bombarded w/Med Bills that are Un-Justifiable! To this day 12-28-25 I'm still Dealing with the Scam. Chasing me for money I simply don't owe due to their scam. It will be resolved. Trust me! The Shepherd failed his Duty. He Refused any Attempt at Procuring the Issue and Passed it on to the Sheep. The Shepherd for now is Long gone. Not much Longer however. At this Point the OSS Shepherd Ringleader needs to be Disciplined and Forced to Pay all bills and by Rights Compensation to me for the ongoing Misery I will carry till I die! Unbelievable! So far approx. $70thousand & counting. I won't mention Specific Names for good reason. Encompass allowed the Misinformed wrong Diagnosis to be their Guide to Treatment. PT, OT ect. Dr. he had made a Huge Mistake Not Double Checking on what was the Real Issue and was it Truthful? Unprofessional to say the Least. All Medical Personnel have a Sworn Duty to Uphold the Hippocratic and Healers Oath of which was Violated. Hippa plays a Part also. PT, OT Personnel did just fine even though they weren't aware of the Scam in Progress! Someone said in 1 Comment said Amanda being a Great help. Best Wishes Amanda. I was at Normandy Ridge from February 4 to February 16. My experience there was not very good when…read moreyou would call for a nurse. It would take forever to get help. I had fractured my ankle and was sent there for rehab. The physical therapy that I received was how to get in and out of a car went up up and down a couple of steps I wish shown how to wash and dress myself in the sink we would order our breakfast lunch and dinner the night before the next day we might get what we ordered or we would get a surprise. I had a roommate she was incontinent. She rang the bell for the nurse to help her to the bathroom. She waited two hours. I was supposed to have my diabetes medicine with my breakfast. I was lucky if I got it by 11:00 AM I was supposed to have anabiotic's and stuff after dinner. I was lucky if I got them before 10 PM there was no schedule on when when you got your meds, they were like fly by night. I would not recommend this rehab to anyone. Don't get me wrong. There was some good nurses there and nurses assistance, but I still wouldn't recommend this rehab for anybody. I had to give it one star so I was able to complete my review.

Our rent has gone up several hundred dollars(greater than $100), it costs four dollars ($4) to have a meal brought to the apartment, and transportation is thirty dollars per hour ($30). Did they tell you every appliance in your apartment will be new and not need repair? BS. These homes for the elderly should be investigated. In my opinion, they are a scam. Any oversight by the Methodist Church is questionable at best. I have been told that the religious front is misused for profit. This is a business, NOT a care home for the elderly- unless you are wealthy of course. The one day a week the Doctor is here, is only for two (2) hours and his staff needs lessons in courtesy. Do you still want to move here?

Rest Haven is a retirement home for the elderly. It is conveniently located across the street from…read morethe York Hospital, so medical emergencies can be taken care of quickly. My grandmother has lived here for years and seems to like it, considering the circumstances. Most staff I've encountered here are pretty friendly. The rooms feel very small to me, especially the 4 person room my grandmother lives in, but other rooming options are available if you have the $$$. They do offer various activities and programs to get the residents out of their rooms at least.
