Their prices are a little bit higher than other spots and their location is a little sketchy, but they do have some great deals and I was able to walk out with some whiskey, three large shots of fireball, and a large can of spiked seltzer for $20?!? Where else can this happen?!? It is right by my work too, which makes it super convenient to pop by and grab something when I've had a long day. They also have a great beer and wine selection and the lady at the counter was cordial and recommended the pineapple infused whiskey I selected, which turned out to be amazing!! I took it right back to the store to see if I can exchange it, I let the cashier know what was going on, and I did not feel safe drinking it, she stated there is nothing they can do, no exchange. I went back to the wine section to see if they had any to compare, come to find out all the Sutter Home Chardonnay 4pk they had was dark in color, all expired, the Tito's vodka was watered down!! SAD!! I went to my regular liquor store to ask them if they exchange bottles that are bad and showed him what I purchased. Come to find out, Liq-Q-Rama changed management and changed policies. I would never recommend this store, they are selling expired liquor. If I would have drank that and got sick, I would sue the hell out of them!! Be aware!!

Ok, not gonna lie. This place is not in the best neighborhood and was a little scary to drive up to. But once inside I was pleased to find a clean, if unfinished, interior that is well-stocked with beer, wine and liquor. I'm a fan of the low overhead retailer with discounted prices. I don't need a shiny, high ceiling, newly painted storefront in order to shop for booze. So, I really liked this place. It's conveniently close to Walmart at 121 and Beach street. I've driven by it many times and not noticed it because of its nondescript brown and somewhat forgettable name. Not anymore. The guy who checked me out appeared to be the owner and was very polite and quick. He has an incense burner at the counter which gave the place a pleasant aroma, not overwhelming as incense can sometimes be. I came looking for rum for a homemade egg nog recipe and found three shelves of options. The beer selection was perhaps the weakest of the sections. But, I can get my Winter Warmer at World Market. The portions are huge! You can sit at one of two islands to eat or get it to go. No beer to drink on premises as it is also a Liquor store. A must try for a cheap BBQ Dive.
