Recently I was having trouble with the expander not lining up, and a phone call got me in (with a smile) to have someone correct and they sent me home with a new tool. We do not live close....neither time have we gotten a phone call to be notified that you are going to be closed on the day of her appointment. This is the most unprofessional location when it comes to scheduling. We are furious! Each time we speak to the call center they are confused as to why she's been scheduled on a day that you are closed. We should not have to call to confirm you are open but I guess going forward we have no choice but to do so. Both times we have noticed other patients showing up as well so we know we are not the only ones you are doing this to. Someone needs to make this right! From scheduling the consultation to having my attachments removed today I have 0 complaints. Starting at the consultation everyone was friendly yet direct and realistic. Dr. Thakkar listening to my concerns, wants, and goals and gave me a realistic expectation as to what I could expect if I chose Invisalign. Him and the office staff made sure that I understood the investment I was making and what would be required of me in order to have a successful treatment which I appreciated deeply. After choosing Invisalign, each and every appointment was easy. I never waited more than 5-10 and each step from scanning, attachments, trays, removal, cleaning, etc. was explained thoroughly, and I never felt rushed. Towards the end of my treatment I let the office know that I would be relocating, and they worked with me to ensure that I would be able to finish up my treatment without going to another ortho in my new town. I can say that Dr. Thakkar is experienced, professional, and does a great job. His staff is the exact same way. Seems Dr Kal is just guessing when he makes adjustments on your teeth. These were adult braces. I've had experience with braces before for my daughter and grandson both had braces but not with this terrible place. My rating is based on my experience. I had Dr Patel in the beginning of my consult. Dr. Patel stated the length of time in braces based upon my needs. I was told 12-14 months in braces. I started 11/2015 and still in braces it's now August 2017 and still counting. I requested the Damon braces which state in their advertising that time in braces may be shorter. Both my daughter and grandson had Damons but not everyone knows how to use them. So watch out. Now I'll give you Pros and cons Pros: Nice front desk staff Cons: Stay away. He tried to con me into believing my teeth were finished. Shame on you Dr Kal. This Dr. Kal wanted to remove my braces long before my teeth were done. Even his assistant Taryn told me that she doesn't suggest I come out of them before I feel they're done. You kinda expect these Orthodontist to know their jobs. Very disappointing experience. My teeth are long past the time they stated and he still couldn't get it right. Please I implore you to go someplace else for braces. I ended up going elsewhere to get my braces finished Dr Kal scheduled me at various intervals to take them off then he changed his mind. My suggestion is be sure to shop around for braces I'd find someplace else. I should have made sure to look into previous work via before and after. I shouldn't have based my smile on price. In March 2024, my husband had an implant and a crown put in. Two weekends ago the crown fell off. They did not have an appointment available until today (7-10) because the only dentist they currently have was on vacation. We had a 3pm appointment and they called us yesterday to ask if we could make it at 2pm instead. We moved our schedule around and got there at 1:30, but didn't get to see the doctor until 3:10! What's more, all we wanted was to have the crown re-glued in. After all, we had paid $1682 above what our insurance paid! But, they said his real tooth had been filed too far and it broke off, so now they wanted to do another procedure which was going to cost us another $1,300+. I think this is ridiculous, because they should have figured out that the crown wasn't going to stay put in March before the procedure they performed then. We initially went to them because they are a provider for Kaiser DMO., but when they found out we also have Delta Dental PPO which paid them more, they wouldn't accept our Kaiser coverage. They also sold me on a different cosmetic procedure than what wanted because it was going to look better and be more economical, and after the work was done, they sent me an additional charge which ended up costing more than what I originally wanted and I was still unsatisfied with the results. Most of their staff and all the previous dentists and their assistants have left. The only general dentist is a Dr. McKay he and his new assistant are as rude as can be, and don't have a clue of how to treat patients. The place looks empty and desolate; as if they are going through financial troubles. As for me, I will never set foot in that building again. If you choose to do so, I hope you have better luck than we did... but I doubt it!
