I'm not really familiar with how plumbing is supposed to work today, but I certainly am not a fan of everyone charging a fee just to show up and look at your problem to give you a price. I think that practice is BS. But it seems like everyone is doing that now. Would I use them again? Sure. They got the job done quickly.

I feel good about telling you quality experience I got from this company MGP Mechanical because I believe if there is no room for growth in this town, economy enough for a compliment or two to be circulating for even your competition,, we have real problems . And I'm pretty sure if you are one of those elderly that have a low amount you're able to budget every month to for fixes in your house, it's gonna be a company like MGP Mechanical or ours that's gonna be the one to help you because we will help you in spite of your financial issues and work out contracted payment plans to make sure our neighbors basic needs are met. It's not always easy to see when someone has moral integrity worth getting to know them , and Austin was one of those gentleman making the service call workers around here look good. I believe with this gentlemen, you'll only see him continue to succeed and grow with this new company of his. As long as the community is connected enough to all have a little bit of Internet access and can continue to spread good news about the good workers, people like Austin will benefit this town, just as Austin will benefit from it. First, he said he needed to make sure we didn't have a leak. Well...we had a slab leak. He referred us to a fantastic plumber (Eddy Ks Plumbing and Heating) that fixes leaks under slabs and he did a phenomenal job. We still wanted to replace the water heater so Joe was patient while all the excavation, repair, and restoration work was done. Joe did a great job replacing our water heater and even built a new stand/table for it. We were billed what we were quoted and he showed up on time and was very professional. We will definitely call him for any future heating, cooling or plumbing needs.

I didn't get an alert from my monitoring app. I have had my solar system since the 2018 install. When I called PNM, I was told that they wouldn't help since I owned my own system. Their advice, turn off my air conditioning to lower my power bill. Thats great advice when it's over 100* outside. FU PNM rep. I reached out to 4 different solar companies but couldn't get anyone to follow thru. I finally reached #1 Plumbing. I was able to get an appointment when the tech actually showed up and get an estimate on what it would cost to replace my inverter. The techs showed up when they said that would, fixed my inverter and helped me with the app. I am so grateful that this is done. Plus they were great to work with. Very friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend them if you have any issues with your solar system. I'm already planning on having them come back to clean out my dryer vents.

Let me share with you what they did to us: 4 years ago, we spent 20K on an HVAC unit from them…read more Then, 2 years ago we bought a 40-gallon water heater. They charged us $3,700. We know now that this is about $2,000 above market cost. They gave us a 1-year warranty. We know now the usual warranty is for 5-6 years. When we called them to repair the unit, we spent all day fighting with them over the estimated cost to repair---they wanted to charge us $809. The cost of the coupling part is $10-40. In Albuquerque, typical cost should be $100-150. So, they wanted to charge us 400% above market price for a two year old unit that they vastly overcharged us for in the first place. I know these guys have high ratings. But this is New Mexico, where nepotism and chicanery is Third World, at best. Get your family to write great reviews. It's ridiculous here. But, by all means, hire these guys. They WILL over-charge you. They WILL NOT stand behind their work. Lastly, they could care less about their customers. Anyone can look this stuff up. I wish we had before we hired they sheisters. And as I see Emma responded to my review i'll pass on here that there's no way for me to respond to what she wrote---she left out all of the above.
