Terrible experience -- avoid at all costs…read more I hired Diego from "Quality Blinds" to install three blinds, and unfortunately, the experience was a complete nightmare. It took five attempts to get the blinds installed, and one is still problematic. He is now asking me for $300+ to fix a problem caused by his own work. He drilled multiple times for each blind, leaving the wall paint damaged. One blind was still wobbly, and his solution was to stick a folded newspaper between the wall and the bracket. Another blind caught the tail of a charger while rolling up, which caused the cable to snap. Communication was another major problem. He rarely answers his phone, does not return calls, and does not respond to text messages. After a dozen attempts and a great deal of frustration, I finally managed to schedule appointments for him to fix the issues. He repeatedly failed to show up on time--not 20 or 30 minutes late, but 3-4 hours late. This meant being stuck at home for hours waiting for someone to fix problems that should never have occurred in the first place. His work was also messy and careless. Ultimately, I had to pay other people to finish and correct the work he started, resulting in additional expense, lost time, and a tremendous amount of frustration. I had just moved and had electricians, plumbers, painters, and other contractors coming and going. There were small issues here and there, but every other professional I dealt with took responsibility for their work and eventually made things right. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Diego at "Quality!" Blinds. DO NOT HIRE HIM.

Since i was away I electronically sent Manny the balance naively believing he was a man of his word. When I arrived home I discovered the disaster installation of which I have posted the photos. There was cracks and holes in my walls that occurred during installation that they didn't even bother to fix. They caked the blinds and walls with caulking like a two year old in art class and to top it off half of the blinds weren't even flush with the walls. Since I'd already paid it was close to impossible to get in touch with Manny. They eventually corrected part problem but within a week the blinds began to fall out of the windows, the blackout channels began to break away from the drywall and it became evident that they never used the proper anchoring during installation. I had to pay a different company to come out and properly reinstall and repair the mess they made. There will most likely be a sharp response to this review so just in case I have posted pictures. Please, for your own peace of mind do not use this company. There are far better and truly professional options.
