When Aries installed our blinds I was out of town visiting my brother who is suffering from a severe form of cancer. Since i was away I electronically sent Manny the balance naively believing he was a man of his word. When I arrived home I discovered the disaster installation of which I have posted the photos. There was cracks and holes in my walls that occurred during installation that they didn't even bother to fix. They caked the blinds and walls with caulking like a two year old in art class and to top it off half of the blinds weren't even flush with the walls. Since I'd already paid it was close to impossible to get in touch with Manny. They eventually corrected part problem but within a week the blinds began to fall out of the windows, the blackout channels began to break away from the drywall and it became evident that they never used the proper anchoring during installation. I had to pay a different company to come out and properly reinstall and repair the mess they made. There will most likely be a sharp response to this review so just in case I have posted pictures. Please, for your own peace of mind do not use this company. There are far better and truly professional options. read more

I used Aries Blinds some 7 years ago for blinds needs for my recording studio. All these years later, they are still here, working as they did when I first installed them. About a year or so ago, we went back there and got the blinds for the rest of our house. Excellent quality at a very fair price. I received a random spam text message this morning at 8AM promoting Aries Blinds. In a review comment they left on here, they claim to use " http://textmarketing.com" for their marketing, acting as if they should not be held responsible for the illegal actions of an 3rd party marketing firm. Unfortunately, sending unsolicited commercial text messages to a phone number is illegal, even if the recipient is not on the DO NOT CALL list (which I am) https://www.fcc.gov/guides/spam-unwanted-text-messages-and-email "Unwanted Texts and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act The TCPA and the FCC's rules ban many text messages sent to a mobile phone using an autodialer. These texts are banned unless (1) you previously gave consent to receive the message or (2) the message is sent for emergency purposes. This ban applies even if you have not placed your mobile phone number on the national Do-Not-Call list of numbers telemarketers must not call. " I gave no prior consent, and this was obviously not an emergency. I would think twice about using any company that resorts to such unethical and shady marketing practices. The work done by this company was very well priced, really fast and Manuel always answered the phone (which I find unusual these days) with professionalism, respect and he's knowledgeable. I hired this company I bought two Plantation Shutters on large windows. What a disappointment with the Installation. One of the Shutters is to small for the window and they filled in the sides with a white long plastic (I think) visible from my front door. They were initially installing the plantation with silver brackets around the frame of the window inside that of course is visible from the outside. According to the owner Plantation Shutters are only to be viewed from inside. "Plantation Shutters enhance the curb appeal of your property" the owners have a hard time understanding this. Not only did they leave my windows full of holes from removing the brackets. The fillings that they used on the sides to make the shutters fit the window is to tight and the shutters are uneven and curbing in. I was honest and paid before reviewing the installation my mistake they seem like honest people. The owner keeps on repeating that he is going to send someone to fix this because the problem is my windows ,the shutters are installed ok and his installer work really good??not to worry my problem can be fixed. They have cancelled twice without notice. Beware before you buy from this Company. I know that eventually I will have to hire someone not related to this company to fix this mess and order another shutter for the window that is to small. Very disappointing. They had the best prices and now I see why a waste of $1500. The Installation looks like it was done by a 5 year old. read more
