Most were closed for the holidays, hello we still need floral arrangements. I even called the funeral home for a list of florists and was told to call back during business hours M-F 9-5. When I told the lady at the funeral home that people didn't always die during business hours she hung up on me. That led me to Google where I found The Bloom Shop. Kristin was absolutely wonderful with her customer service. While she didn't have the Norfolk pine I wanted in stock because Christmas had deleted her inventory, she described what fresh cut flowers she had and what she could make. She was going to her floral wholesaler after she closed and if they had the Norfolk pine, she would get one for me or if not make the fresh cut floral arrangement. She took my number and called me back saying she had success with getting the Norfolk pine. She took my billing info and confirmed what the card should read and that was THE best customer service with a florist I've ever experienced. She took so much stress off an otherwise difficult time in trying to secure funeral flowers for a beloved friend's mom. While we cannot attend the services, we wanted to express our sympathy. However, they suggested we leave the decorative front face with them to protect it during construction. Recently we contacted them to pick it up. There has been very poor communication. They have not returned any of our phone calls, which forced us to visit their office in person. As it stands right now and after several weeks of searching, we (and THEY!!!) are not really sure where the decorative panel is. We are hoping this will be resolved soon, but it has put a tarnish on our overall experience. We will update this review with the outcome. As of 1/29/21, we went in-person to make the final payment and pick up our fireplace front. They had the wrong color, so we will wait another three weeks for them to correct this mistake.

Four days before installation I got an invoice that was 25% !!! more than anticipated because they said they forgot something on the original. Feeling over the barrel because of all the other teams scheduled around this installation (drywall, roof, etc), I was compelled to negotiate a compromise, but then the final bill was still more than we had agreed to. This time they threw my contractor under the bus. I can't remember the last time I had a less transparent experience with something that should have been so straight forward.
