This factory store is kindof interesting to see how the man made pearls are strung into necklaces. The ladies are all working very hard behind a glass enclosure to string each pearl individually. There was great information from the tour that I participated in. I was surprised to learn about how many colors, shapes and designs there are in making the necklaces. read more

Every time I come to Mallorca via a ship, my excursion always stops at this store, which I definitely don't mind. There's always something I like and purchase. The way it works... Find an item you like. Salesperson gives you a purchase slip. You go to pay at another counter. Bring the receipt and your item is packed in a velvet jewelry box shaped like a shell, inside a box. I've been here 3 times and always find something that I love. Will definitely be back at some point as I love this island. There are restrooms in the basement which is great after a long drive. read more

To be honest I wasn't thrilled about going here because it wasn't even mentioned in our tour itinerary. I didn't even think I'd like manmade pearls as much as I love real ones. I can now say I'm very happy we went here and I'm in love with their pearls. You can watch them making pearls inside the factory which is pretty cool. It was quite interesting. Inside the store there are two levels with rows and rows of things made of their pearls. They had necklaces, rings, sunglasses, handbags, picture frames, earrings, bracelets, hats and so much more I can't remember them all. Everything is priced decently. It's not outrageous but definitely not cheap. One of the items I bought was a pair of sunglasses and they're gorgeous! They have a pearl on each side and very good quality. Downstairs they have a snack area and large bathroom. Beware in the women's bathroom though...there is a step outside of each stall and if you're not paying attention you could fall, not that it happened to me or anything. After browsing through many of the Mallorca Pearl shops, I came back to this shop after seeing their gorgeous "black" pearls that had a beautiful bluish-purple iridescence! It was definitely a splurge purchase but a high quality pearl from Mallorca, famous for their pearls.
