First of all, I cannot believe that there are only two reviews for this place! My fiance and I came to Oro Puro after spending a day in the diamond district. Let me just say that walking into this store was a breath of fresh air! We were recommended to come by a couple of people who had purchased their rings from here. From the moment we walked in to the store we were treated like family. Teddy (the owner) immediately sent someone to get us cappuccinos. If he offers them to you.. say YES! It's one of the best you'll ever drink. I could sit here and write an essay on the various times we went in to the store and how amazing the service was EVERY SINGLE time. We ended up purchasing my engagement ring from Teddy and I am SOOOO happy that we did. I am super picky! Teddy and his wife, Christina, were so patient with me. I ended up having my ring custom made based on a setting I saw in their store. He didn't even give us an option on the center stone. He promised he would get a great stone for us and he did! Eventually, when we went to an appraiser and had her describe the uniqueness of the ring and the stone's true value I was brought to tears. I knew that Teddy was a great guy the day I met him but now I have so much more love and respect for him. These people are truly honest, caring folks who treat their customers like family. We are now life long Oro Puro customers! I keep getting compliments on my ring. Even the appraiser we went to was in love with it.
