Overall sketchy experience as the guide shows you have to hook on and then you are on your own. So if you have a younger kid, you are the one watching him. The guide(s) were mostly nonexistent. Other places I've seen have a pole to pull you to the end if you get stuck. Not this place, you are pulling yourself to the end and onto the platform.

My wife and I came out here Saturday morning before the rain rolled in and had an absolute blast. For about $50 per person, the adventure park provides approximately 36 obstacles between the two courses. The facility supplies body harness's equipped with fall protection and leather gloves. The staff help gear everyone up then complete a safety briefing. Users can move on to the first course after mastering a few practice obstacles. Safety is up to the user once they begin, however, a staff member monitors from the ground in case there is an emergency. It took us about two hours to complete both courses as a group of 6 people. If you have experience rigging and with ziplines, I highly recommend leading the group. Only one person can be on an obstacle at a time and only two per platform. If you get caught behind someone who has a fear of heights or little to no experience, it will take much longer to get through the course. There are multiple zip lines throughout the course, and some of them are over bodies of water, so secure your phone! Be prepared to work and sweat; the courses include multiple areas where you need to balance, dodge, climb, duck, squat, push, pull, and hold up your own body weight for a duration of time. Wear comfortable clothing and try not to stare as the body harnesses are jammed in everyone's crotch the entire time LOL! Donovan was the staff member who provided training and monitored our group adventure. He was helpful, fun, polite, and enthusiastic; because of Donovan, our overall experience was much more fun and memorable. I would definitely come back to the Daytona Zipline Adventure again.

One of the main doors to get into the rink area was marked as broken, and it caused a lot of issues trying to enter and exit, and confusion over whether both doors of the set were broken or just one, as the signage and cone was only on one of them. The entry to the ice itself is tiny and easily blocked by one person, let alone people also to exit the ice. Water was dripping from the rafters onto my skate bag. The rental skates are in BAD condition, like, I'm aware that rentals aren't good but most of these were nasty and should have been replaced already. And because of the massive crowd and gift tables from the parties there was basically no place to sit and put skates on. It was a couple of our kids' first time skating and I wish I'd have just taken them to one of the other rinks nearby, but I wanted to have access to a walker for any of them that wanted to use it. On that note, I purchased a walker rental but I was not given the correct color wristband to get one, so actually getting the walker was more challenging than it needed to be. For this..."experience", we paid a little more than $70. Maybe it's better on a weekday but I can't say I'm very excited to go back and see if that's true or not after the experience we had today. It kind of feels like we survived an incident rather than had a fun family outing.

The staff was friendly enough, but I did think they nickel and domed you. Like if kids are skating, they will rent you a kind of walker to help keep them upright. The people hosting it said it was two hundred and fifty dollars for ten kids, so twenty-five dollars a head, not a terrible price, but I didn't think they gave a lot for the money. Pro.tip, if you go, remember that it is an ice skating rink, so it is chilly in there so bring a jacket.

I feel like more and more people are starting to realize Ormond Beach is better than Daytona so the parking lot is more packed. Overall, we still had a great trip. I love the sand on this coast. It's coarse and darker in color. And for being so close to New Smyrna I can never find shark teeth.

Although we've been down to the Daytona area many times, I had no idea until last week that this…read moreplace existed. Hidden off the A1A between some condo high rises and back by the Publix, Walgreens and Shores Community Center. Don't let the name fool you. While it is called a golf club, and I guess there are memberships, it is very much a public course that aside from the brief times when they have leagues, you just show up and play. A few notables: - Right now the course is "under construction" which to me looks like they are just trying to grow some fresh grass on their tee boxes. This means right now it's all temp. tees which only make short holes even shorter. - You can check the layout and distances on their site before you play but right now I don't think anything except maybe #8 is over 100 yards and the shortest are in the mid-20's. You could load the ball in your ass and fart it on the green easier then using a club for something that short. - Obviously with a course this small there are no motorized carts. Everything is walking but they do rent pull carts and clubs and they sell balls and if you're so inclined tees. Do you really need a tee to play here? No, you can get by with a wedge and a putter although if you do rent clubs, they give you a bag with a putter, a wedge or two and an 8 and 9. - Was it busy? Not at all. It was a hot as hell Sunday and aside from two older guys who stopped around five to let us play through, we had the place to ourselves. The guy in the clubhouse said in summer they are usually dead and that most of their rounds are from snowbirds who play far more in winter when it's still warm, but not right now when it feels like you're playing on Mercury. - Hours are 7:30 to 6 during DST and until 5 during standard time. Overall the course is a bit beat up with some brown fairways and greens but the pricing is decent and it's always more fun when you mostly have the course to yourself. Mr. Waterman delivers them and picks them up. My kids had a great time at Sanchez park, nice calm waters. It was a beautiful day.
