It was midnight. My last night in NOLA. I've wanted a semicolon tattoo for a while so I decided to go with this spot after seeing the reviews. I was not disappointed at all! I did not have an appointment, so I did have to wait for about 45 minutes. The waiting area was extremely comfortable as there was a couch & huge television. My tattoo took approximately 10 minutes. I then decided to get a nose piercing on a whim. Flame was extremely patient and made me feel at ease because this was my first tattoo and body piercing. He gave detailed instructions on after-care. The shop was clean and I felt extremely safe. I even returned later in the morning because I accidentally yanked my nose ring out when washing my face. He looked at it and assured my everything was okay with it before I left for the airport. I can't wait to come back!!

Unalome tattoo for representation of a journey to enlightenment. Fused the Celtic symbol into the piece for the representation of strength.

We called in before we did a walk in. Flame was really nice and friendly! Super affordable! My experience was great. I was definitely nervous coming in and not knowing how his art would turn out. I'm absolutely happy with my piece. I even got a piercing. Best part is, he hooked it up since I got the piercing in addition to the tattoo. He travels to Texas time to time too!

My recently turned 16 year old son, recently came home w a tattoo done by a gentleman that goes by the name " Flame." He was not ID'd, we did not give permission or sign anything. I would soon find out the whole story and the guys my son was w told this guy to do an outline. No shading, the word Ma( short for mom). They said, the guy didn't listen. Idk if that even makes a difference at this point, it just upsets me, and his father even more so. It has the initials M A( upside-down). Everytime I see it, I smh in disbelief and dismay. I'd hope that his first tattoo experience be w us, and or, just a good one- all around. To say that his father and I were/are VERY upset, hurt, confused is an understatement. My husband was recently diagnosed w Pancreatic cancer, so the added stress from this situation does not make this any easier. My husband was so mad, so hurt, that he didn't look at or talk to our son for 3 long days. My son cried, his dad cried!! I cried, his grandparents and sisters, my neighbors are all shocked and upset. I begged him to pls not let another day go by without talking to his son. He saw the tattoo bec I took a picture of it to break the news to him. My son Regrets it, and asked if it could be removed. I looked into it for him, it's very expensive. His words were..."I got caught up in the moment Ma n I didn't even think further than that moment. I couldn't believe the guy was gonna do it. The more he looked at it, the more reality set in. Now, I didn't raise my voice at all. I could hardly speak. I had tears in my eyes, and a lot of questions. He got so weak, I had to get him a wet towel. He was visibly shaken. He hates to take medicine, i finally asked if he wanted a tylenol pm so he could relax and fall asleep. He quickly said, " YES! PLS MA! " This boy never got a butt whipping in his life-was so afraid that his dad was finally going to whoop his butt good, and punish him indefinitely. He was punished for a week, but it's not entirely his fault. I know where I went wrong.( he shouldn't have been allowed to take a ride at that hour and w 2 older guys, even tho they are good guys). He should have absolutely been asked for identification and had written permission or whatever is required by law. There is enough blame to go around. He is so upset at himself- that's punishment enough anyways, i think. Some will read this and say, it's just a tatt, and he'll get more when he's old enough to. I get it! You're right, " when he is old enough to." We are not opposed to tattoos at all. In fact, I like a lot of ppls tattoos. I am not against my son having them at all... when he is of a legal age and able to make a well thought out and mature decision. I'm not sure what we are going to do about this at this time. My son asked abt removal. I looked into it. It is very expensive. The only thing I am certain of abt this tattoo rn, is that he's stuck w it, it will need to be fixed, covered, whatever artist do to fix someone's work. To say we are all unhappy , shocked and confused as to how this happened is an understatement. Maybe one day, we'll look back and laugh, but I doubt it. GOD BLESS!

Had a great experience getting tattoos with my friend last night. Flame was super friendly, funny, professional, and did an amazing job! He will now be a forever part of the many great memories I have had in NOLA!

I…read morealways felt like I never wanted to put my children through any type of pain they couldn't explain to me what the feeling or hurt was. So I knew when she got to age 5, I would feel comfortable with the piercing negotiations. She's been begging for earrings since she could talk, wearing paper clips, and clip-ons LOL for so long now. We finally had the big girl talk and I explained the whole process and how or what the pain level would possibly be. Once I felt sure that she understood and could handle the situation at hand. I jumped off the porch and said let's go baby. I called up her pediatrician and lo and behold they don't pierce ears. I was a little setback because I knew I wasn't going to some mall to get her ears pierced. I wanted to be somewhere that was focused on care and cleanliness. I found Rowan on magazine and it was everything and a little bit more. The fact that you had registered nurses to help you through the entire process. Along with a a bright airy open space, real gold earrings to start with. This place was checking off a lot of my wish list so I set the appointment. A surprising extra, the team is available to answer any questions or concerns you may have later on in the healing process. You get a cleaning spray and a little bag of goodies and I mean what more could a over obsessive mother ask for. A definite 100 in my book. Please check them out for your children's piercings, adult piercings, or just a little lagniappe.

Staff is very sweet and attentive. I went in not knowing what I wanted and they guided me every…read morestep. On the pricer side, but you are paying for quality.
