I recently went car shopping. My goal was to find a used car that was within two years old that met all the criteria that was important to me. I wanted a car with low mileage, still under warranty, that had great gas mileage, had plenty of head room and leg room for me and passengers, and at a payment less than $250 monthly. I wanted all of this and in addition to the most important criteria I was looking for, the best interest rate possible. My best friend recommended BMW Mini Copper Store. So I headed out Memorial Day Weekend and Visited the Mini Copper store, along with Toyota, and Kia. I was absolutely blown away by the professionalism and respect given at the BMW Mini Cooper store by each and every member of the staff that had dealing with me. The Sales Man Arie listened to my needs list and he showed me only cars that met those needs. I test drove several car before deciding on a 2012 Nissan Versa SL. In the Negotiations, $1500 was reduced from the car price and the APR was approved at 4.39% and a monthly payment of $231. I told Arie to let me shop around and I would get back with him. When I went to Toyota, the sales man was pushy and using hard sales skills. A soft sell approach work better for me, but he was not recognizing that his aggressive approach was a turn off for me. Also when the sales man introduced me to the finance man and manager, they turned there back on me without smiling or extending their hands for a hand shake, and they reprimanded the sales man for not having me do a test drive yet and that he was not following protocol. I was truly offended. They should have shock my hand and then pulled the sales man aside privately. At Toyota, they were pushy, aggressive, rude, and unprofessional. The APR came back at 7.99% on a new car which was an insult. I was preapproved through a credit union for 7.5% on a used car and 5.5% on a new car so Toyota recommended that I go with the loan at the credit union and come back, but with how they treated me, I was not interested. Next I went to Kia. The sales man did not have knowledge to any of the questions I was asking. Also, they did not have the car I was wanting, so he was trying to get me into a different model instead. I did not even give them a chance to run the numbers because of the sales mans ineptness. I call Arie back and told him I wanted to close on the deal and went back the next day. During the final stage, the finance manager was amazing with finalizing the paperwork and I left a proud owner of a car that met all my needs. The level of service provided to me while working with each member of the BMW Mini Copper staff was exceptional. I am so very impressed with the quality of service provided. I do not want to forget to thank Mike the General Manager. On both days of the negotiation he personally stopped by several time in the coarse of the business transaction and shock my hand and ask me how I was doing, and whether I needed anything. The management at Toyota could truly learn something from Mike. Mike clearly has set the example of how to treat a customer and the rest of his staff follows his lead. An example of a great leader. Our visit to Orlando MINI was intended to just be a tire rotation on our 4-month old 2011 Countryman. We leased the car from Ferman MINI in Tampa, and we were absolutely disgusted with the service at the Tampa dealership. From the moment we walked into Orlando MINI, we were greeted with warm and friendly smiles and humor from Terrell in the service department. We explained what we had been through in Tampa both through the sales and service, and were assured that we would be treated much better at Orlando MINI. While waiting for our service to be completed (since we couldn't get loaner because our car came from MINI of Tampa), we walked around looking at the showroom, and began speaking with one of the motoring advisors, Elena. We shared our story with her, and she was glad to listen and offer any help. Out of curiosity, we asked what it would cost to get out of our four-month old lease and into a new 2012, expecting it to be outrageous. Much to our surprise, the payment for the Cooper Hardtop on the lot was cheaper than on our Countryman! From that point on, Elena ran every possible scenario to give us all the numbers and options, whether for purchase, lease or MINI Select, and factored in options and gave us plenty of information to work with. Our experience in Orlando was worlds better than the one we had in Tampa four months prior. Once we settled on exactly what we wanted, the financial paperwork part was a breeze. We absolutely LOVE our new MINI, and we want to thank Orlando MINI for restoring our confidence in the MINI brand and the car buying experience altogether! We are planning to work with Elena again in a few months to trade out our second car (currently a Jetta) for another MINI (possibly a coupe?) No matter where you are in Florida, it is worth the drive to Orlando MINI. In fact, all of the Fields dealerships have been great so far (both Orlando MINI and Lakeland VW). read more

I purchased a used Mini and I sent it to Orlando Mini to diagnose what was wrong with the vehicle. They informed me that i needed a gear shift assembly and a wiring harness for the transmission. I approved the repairs. Several days later they told me the car was finished. I picked up the vehicle and the car started doing the same thing that it was doing before as I was driving home from the dealership. I had the car towed back to Orlando Mini. Several days later they called me and told me that the car needed a valve body. I told them no. You told me that the car only had two problems and they were corrected. Not true. I contacted the BBB and finally Mini agreed to do the valve body. Now, 1 1/2 years later, the car starts doing the same thing. Mind you, the repairs that they did to the car were now warrantied for 2 years. Now they tell me that it needs an egs module. They quote me over $1700. I told them no, that the car is doing what it was doing before. A few days later I get a call from service telling me that it needs the egs module, but that might not fix the problem. So now they are telling me to invest $1700 so that they can start to find out what other issues the transmission might have. Are you kidding me? You're the dealer! You can't tell me what's wrong? This is the absolute worst dealership that I have ever dealt with. Buyer beware. read more

I've been going to this dealer since I purchased my Cooper 8 years ago. Paul in parts was the only one I trusted for most of that time. The sales people were all too eager to give me incorrect information (which I can easily verify the inaccuracy) in order to sell me another car. I'd worked with a few of the service techs. Tiffany has been the most compassionate and thorough by miles (auto pun). She's really tried and succeeded in winning back my loyalty to a brand that for me, handles at the closeness of my thoughts. When I've come in to find that my car was sick, the first thing I wanted to do was fix it and prevent it, whatever it was, from occurring again. It's been the turbo, the coolant, gaskets galore, and most common--something or another to do with burning or leaking oil. Tiffany has been clear about any problems, understanding of my concerns, and wiling to see that the necessary work done without extraneous judgement on me for not having nor wanting to spend greater resources to act out fantasies of being a street legal rally car driver. I'm grateful she's there to see things are done correctly and kindly. read more

He was very friendly and accommodating, even though he was in sales and I was dealing with someone in service (my MINI was purchased elsewhere). He was extremely competent in all aspects of the trade and exhibited utmost concern about my satisfaction. Chris is one that when you work with him once, you will continue that association in the future. I purchased my second Mini Cooper about a month ago with Orlando Mini. My first experience 6 years ago was fantastic so when it was time for a new car I decided to go back. There is just something about those little cars that I love! At the beginning of September, I called to make an appointment to test drive a few convertible styles. Upon my arrival, Jim explained that he would be helping me. He asked me several questions about my lifestyle and needs in a vehicle and then we were off doing some test driving. Just purchased my first Mini Cooper and was fortunate enough to make that purchase at Orlando Mini. The salesman (Patrik Pastel) and Business manager (Chris Cutting) made the process my best car purchasing experience ever. Patrik was polite, honest and totally upfront about the entire sales process which is quite the experience when you are purchasing a car. Chris made the finance process quick and seamless. The biggest and most pleasant surprise was that I was treated as if I was purchasing a new car which I have never experienced before even though myy actual purchase was a used 2007 Mini. I currently have a leased vehicle and I know as soon as that lease ends - I am heading back to Orlando Mini to Patrik and Chris and purchase that convertible Mini that I have always wanted. I purchased my Mini last Janurary and have been so pleased it's amazing. From the minute I walked into the showroom to the time I drove my new Mini out of the dealership everyone was professional, courteous and informative. Jim, my saleman, was knowledgeable and friendly. There was absolutely no pressure and when I asked a question, he answered it and didn't try to "up-sell" me. I got the vehicle I wanted and one that fit my needs. I go to the dealership about twice a month to get a courtesy wash and without fail the service people greet me and are very friendly. I am completely happy with the dealership and will not go any where else for service or for future purchase. As for the vehicle: WOW!!!! She's my baby and I have to say I've never been happier with a vehicle than I am with my Mini. She gets great milage. I went on a road trip in July and drove a total of 1200 milages averaging 39.5 MPG. I went from Orlando, Fl to Charelston, SC and still had gas left to drive an additional 100 miles around Charleston. read more

I believe I was one of her first customers after transferring from the Customer Service Desk. She was fantastic. Charming, efficient, personable and a joy to do business with. She is a credit to the dealership. I was so pleased, not only with Ellena, but my wife is very pleased with the automobile, it is a fun car. We had a situation with Sirius as the atenna was faulty. No questions asked. Made an appointment with the service department and the problem was solved quickly and efficiently. I recommended a Mini Cooper to a friend of mine and without hesitaton made an appointment with Ellena and within an hour the deal was made and my friend drove off in her new Cooper. I bought my second mini here Oct 2014, it is blue John Copper Works blue rag top..the pic of my profile. I bought it used with about 7500miles. Awesome car..so much fun with actual 31mpg. My first mini was a baby blue 2005 rag top which I loved (bought from a friend), but 2013 is faster and better mpg. My motoring advisor (salesman) Pratik helped me not only thru the sales process, but most importantly getting the vehicle looking like a brand new after the sale. I bought it before it hit the sales floor so I had to take it back to get it detailed and get some aftermarket stuff put on like side stripes. I also like the many benes offered by the Fields Auto Group. Pratik and the used car manager Chris worked with me as we tried to hammer a deal...I got a good deal...close to what I wanted but what made it a great deal was Pratik's effort to make sure and needed service was done right if not the first time then the 2nd time around. read more

Just purchased my 1st MINI 2 weeks ago from Orlando MINI and love it! Since I ordered it new, I had to wait a few months for it to be built & shipped to the dealership. It's over an hour drive for me, so to save me trips back & forth, Pratik Patel (sales) was able to handle the majority of the paperwork via email, saving a TON of time. He was extremely knowledgable on the millions of available options and could answer all of the of the questions I had. When trying to decide between 2 options, Pratik was able to let me know which would give me the most bang for my buck & would best suit my lifestyle, never trying to push unnecessary features I wouldn't use. This dealership is operated by scam artists! My experience with a Fields dealership has been incredibly disappointing, especially after buying a new MINI from them. Taylor sold me a car (lemon) in 2024, and the service department can't seem to diagnose, forcing me to prove any issues on my own. Before things really soured, the general manager, David, manipulatively persuaded me into buying the car while my previous one was in the body shop, promising to buy it back once repaired. However, he gave me the lowest offer compared to other dealers and I ended up going with CarMax. Their loaner cars are always musty and barely have any gas. Despite seven service visits in three months, they won't even give me a simple car wash. It's astonishing how this dealership operates with such incompetence, and although I shouldn't be surprised, I always end up more frustrated than before. read more

My husband and I recently traded our Mini Countryman for a Mini Coupe at the Orlando Mini dealership. We live about 600 miles from Orlando, but my husband found the perfect car with all of his desired options on Orlando Mini's website. So we decided to call them and try a long distance trade. This past month I purchased a non-mini used vehicle from Orlando Mini. My past experiences at dealerships were not the most pleasurable, but totally different here!!!! The car itself was in great condition (no rust underneath or wheel wells), gave me a carfax for free just to see the history of the vehicle, damages, recalls, mileages, and what states it had been registered in. Signing was a simple matter, and didn't have all the annoying recording and legal explanations. They explained everything clean and clear. They handle everything from the tag and title to the loan which need certain documentation rather than forwarding the loan people to me. Super easy, great deals, and well worth sending a friend or family member. And now I see they have ice cream? I might have to go back for my "earned" purchase! :) read more

First new car purchase from a dealership, and I had heard horror stories from friends, but this whole process was fantastically easy and simplified. Not to mention I love my new MINI, exactly what I wanted, and have no regrets at all. I financed with the dealership and was extremely happy with the whole package, they even took care of Tax, Tag, and Title on site and I was able to drive home and not worry about dealing with the DMV (tax office in Florida I suppose). Carl, the salesman I was paired with, was professional, prompt, and answered all my questions quickly. I would recommend Orlando MINI to any one looking for a mini in Florida (I drove down from Jacksonville, worth it) or thinking about it. We were met at the door by Carl Braun, one of Orlando Mini's sales managers. He helped us tremendously and was oh so helpful showing us the available Minis. He helped us find a car that was exactly what we wanted. He was so enthusiastic about the car that it was infectious. His enthusiasm carried over to our drive home in our new Mini.
