What is great is that they use a green spray which is odorless and safe for my daughter to be around. They are extremely kind and great to work with and they will come back if needed - no questions asked. Now the big question, does it work? YES, and so well at that. It is a great service that allows us to have peace of mind and we don't have to spend the time doing it ourselves. Kevin is our absolute favorite as he always goes above and beyond with this service. Messaged Vinx through Yelp a couple of months ago seeking a treatment quote to prevent termites…read more Experienced some difficulties with the local branch in Charleston. First tech didn't come, but called and said he'd email a quote. Never got the quote (Ryan, the company owner in Texas, later told me that guy didn't work out and was let go). So Vinx sent another tech to survey my home for a quote. He came but I never got the quote. So in an effort to make it right Ryan offered me some options at very good prices. I took him up on one, a one-time home perimeter Termidor trench treatment, at a great price. When someone from Vinx called to schedule the service appointment they were shocked at the price Ryan had quoted me, but then I did opt out of the bond (protection warranty) so that reduced the cost at lot. According to the Termidor label it can last up to 10 years and will kill any termites that go through the treated dirt. Ryan seems like he'll do right by his customers and will make any problems right. Vinx also offers Centricon bait stations, that require a service agreement, which are placed about every 8 feet around your house. They're big on the Centricon service. While it costs a lot more, I'm sure the regular inspections by a Vinx tech and bond are worth it to many homeowners and give them piece of mind. Had the trench treatment done 8/15/20. Scott and the other Charleston-based tech did a nice job applying the Termidor around my house. After allowing the chemical (0.8 oz per gallon of water) to soak into the ground, they backfilled the dirt and sprayed the top layer with more Termidor. This appears to be inline with the Termidor instructions I've seen online. Hopefully this will provide extra protection to my home from subterranean termites for years to come. Although I experienced some scheduling and quote difficulties with Vinx at the start, the owner Ryan wanted to make it right, and in the end I got a good deal for a termite treatment. Give them a shot, and if you're not happy, contact Ryan and I bet he'll take care of you.

I called to make an appointment and due to a…read morechange in plans i immediately called and cancelled letting them know I would have to call back to reschedule. A lady took my called and said it was taken care and confirmed no cancellation confirmation was needed. Then the week before the originally made (and cancelled) appt, I got an email saying to confirm my appointment. I immediately called and told them that this should have been cancelled a week or so before. The gentleman said he was cancelling it and apologized for the mixup and again when asked said there is no cancellation email/confirmation. Fast forward to today when I called to make an appt, they told me they would not give me the special I was originally booking under for $75 for initial inspection BECAUSE I had cancelled my appointments multiple times. To add insult to injury after I still explained what happened and asked if she would be able to honor the $75 due to there NOT being multiple cancellations, she repeated, NO MA'AM, NO MA'AM. With "customer service" like that, sounds like I dodged a bullet. I'd hate to see what they would be like to deal with if there was an issue during service. Ewww to them...too many companies out there to give your business to that won't treat you this way due to THEIR INCOMPETENCE!
