Definitely a dive bar atmosphere. Sports, sports, sports. This place has so many TVs and has every package available to watch whatever game you want to watch. It's a great mix of people with a friendly staff and good food. It's just a place that doesn't have table service but it definitely has a lot of style. Just discovered this place a couple weeks ago. Been coming every monday for .75 cent wings after 7pm. Best wing deal anywhere. And the wings are awesome. I always order their custom turbo sauce. Its slightly sweet yet spicy with a hint of honey mustard. So goood. Their buffalo sauce is franks red hot which is pretty tasty as far buffalo sauce goes. Their blue cheese is home made and one of my favorites anywhere. Every time ive had wings the past couple weeks its been here. Plus drinks are pretty inexpensive. Love this spot. read more

This is the third time I went here in 3 weeks. The food is always very good. The problem with this place is the bartender.... A bigger blond girl with an attitude. She was working the bar at 5:30pm 4/13/24. Her lack of attention to customers and her robotic interaction is a turnoff to any potential business. I don't thinks she likes her job or her customers. Regulars, that watched her lack of customer service with me laughed and said "don't complain to her about her service or she will go off on you." If I go back, it won't be when she is there. Haven't been to this place in years. Ordered the blackened prime rib sandwich medium rare. It came out cold like it had been sitting for hours and definitely rare. Sent it back. No "I'm sorry", nothing. Also had the jerk chicken wings. They were plump and juicy. Blue cheese not that great. Celery looked old. Steak sandwich came back out and honestly it was delicious and tasty. Not sure what happened the first time. The Cook did come out and apologize and even laughed when we said was it from lunchtime or what? Anyways all in all we will definitely come back and give it another try. I visited the Pub on Christmas Eve at 5:58 PM. We ordered a wine, beer and a bowl of chili. The chili was filled with cheese and onion and was not fit to eat. After one bit I took it back to the bar and told the bar tender I could not eat this and could I get a refund. She rudely told me "we don't do refunds". When the server brought my chili and slammed it on the table. My friend tried to get some ice for her wine and the girl ignored her and wanted away. My friend went to the bar and to get her ice and asked her why did she ignore her. The bar tender told her to get out of the bar area and she finally got her ice. I am not sure what the issue is with this establishment or the help. A course in Customer Service 101 is desperately needed. Maybe the owner needs to check up on the employees. They may not like older customers? Whatever the problem is this is one senior citizen that will not be back. read more

Been here thrice. I've decided that I like the place. There is something awesome about a nice shitty dive bar that is smoky enough to make a brown grizzly bear wearing a forest ranger hat show up and take notice. Friendly patrons, friendlier staff and pub grub so greasy that you need a cardiologist on speed dial. Do people still have speed dial, or did I just age myself? Lots of televisions, some newer than others, and a lot of unsavory, fire hazardish-looking wires peeking out of the walls. The tiles on the floors don't match, and follow no scheme known to mankind. First time there. Pretty cool place. Only issue: the blonde bartender (Tierra I think it was) was definitely not a people person. I got the impression she's only nice to the regulars. After talking with some other people at the bar, they said the same thing. One flat said she tries not to come during the times she's there. The other staff seemed nice though and the other patrons were nice as well. That said, the food was AWESOME. We came to watch the hockey game. Wish they would have a put sound to the game (it is the playoffs, and this is a "sportsbar" after all. So, we'll probably try coming again just because the food was so good. Inexpensive, tucked away, dark little getaway from the mainstream. This is a good bar to go to with friends or if you're hiding from the law. It's not near anything else, and you don't go there to meet people, but it does have quality food and beer for pretty cheap (quite a bit less than most other bars in Dunedin/Palm Harbor.) Free popcorn and low lighting make it a nice end of the evening bar, as long as you're not trying to impress anyone. read more

After almost 2 years we returned wanting to try their wing night. We stopped at the bar to order and she said find a seat she will find us and take out order. In about 2 minutes she came back and gave us menus and took our drink order. She forgot to bring our drinks until after our food arrived. She apologized profusely and gave us two free drink tickets. The wings were very large and pretty good. The buffalo was a tad not he dry side as far as the sauce goes so next time we would order extra sauce. The jerk was delicious. My garlic farm fries were also good. We sat in the backroom which they have sort of finished by putting tables and booths in with lots of tv's. It is sort of a messy kind of backroom that includes freezers for their food. I guess their kitchen is lacking space for these items. It is a smoking bar so sitting in the back allowed us to get away from most of the smoke. Most of the people were sitting in the front. Prices are very fair for a neighborhood bar. This place was packed at 8:30 until 10:30 when we left. There is more parking in the back if there are no spaces in the front. I would definitely return for wing night. read more

Someone recommended this pub to us as a place to go. We tried it on a Thursday. The place was busy but not full. We flagged down the only barmaid and ordered a quesadilla, a sandwich and ultimate nachos (the Thursday special). We waited 55 minutes until the food finally came, along with a lot of attitude from the bar maid. When we got the bill, she charged us $5 more for the nachos "special." We will never be going to Pinehurst Pub again. Do yourself a favor and skip this place if you like friendly customer service. read more

It has been a few years since I was in Pinehurst Pub. Decided to go there with a friend for a burger. The place has really cleaned up since I was last there. The burgers are as delicious as they always were. However, this was absolutely the worst customer service experience I've had in years. After sitting in a booth for 15 minutes without being acknowledged, although I know we were seen, I approached the bar. The bartender, (tall blonde woman) blatantly ignored me. I fi6nally asked her if she could take our orders. She literally yelled at me, said she was busy, they were between shift changes, I just needed to wait. ( the bar was only half full, and no one else was sitting in a booth).I asked her if they still did table service, or if I had to order from the bar. She again barked at me to go sit down and wait. After another 5 to 10 minutes,7 a small woman with glasses came to our booth. She seemed annoyed, no hello, just what do you want. took our oder , came back with drinks slammed them on the table and walk away. No coaster, No napkins, no straws. About 15 minutes later, our burgers arrived. She slammed the baskets on the table so hard that one of the baskets almost tipped completely over, and walk away. We had no utensil. I went up to the bar to ask for utensils. The blonde woman said "I'm not your server" while the one with glasses stood right there listening. I asked her for utensils, she just ignored me, and walked away. A customer at the bar then walked around back somewhere, and brought us utensils. We were never checked on again, and even though we would have liked another round of drinks, we realized it was fruitless to even ask. When it was time to leave, it was another epic endeavor to get a check. After 10 minutes of waving, approaching the bar and loudly saying, " I guess the food and drinks are free", The blonde woman said, just sit down and wait, you're not the only ones here you know. Finally a Young dark haired man arrived on the scene. He bussed our table, was friendly, asked if we wanted anything else, and promptly brought us iur check and cashed us out. Since this experience, I've spoken to other former regulars at the Pub. The concensus was the same. These two young women working there are the absolute worst! They have run away many customers with their attitude. I'm told it is the same owner, but he is rarely involved in daily operations anymore. Unfortunately the bathrooms are filthy and the bartenders could use some training in customer service and just try to be welcoming. I hate it for this place, but I had a mouth dropping moment tonight. Actually, not just me but anyone who witnessed the situation I've lived here too long to put up with this shit any longer. I know the bartender and her name is Milani. Sounds British. There was this young girl who ordered food and she Threw her food at her in a box, and it knocked her drink over the couple next to her. Kind of looked intentional. No sorry to the couple next to her or girl herself. I actually brought a friend that was from out of town and neither of us saw such nasty service before. The poor girl tried to say herselve too and it looked like she was crying. it really was disgusting behavior. It made the bar awkward. I really think this place needs management badly. It was clearly intentional and mabye they knew eachother but really seemed like the customer was just ordering food. it really made me ashamed being a regular. I am not big on making reviews but I dont think I am coming back anymore until somethings change as i have seen bad service here over and over again but tonight was bad. and it is such a cool place, but service just keeps getting worse. The entire neighborhood agrees and prefers elsewhere... I actually used to like it here, but wow have I have been surprised with constant bad service for myself and then see people get treated bad its embarrassing that its in the neighborhood. This place used to be a staple. The service has changed that and suprised since its been a few years with really bad service. deff could be a cool coinvent place with a lot of TVs. They have a very good wing night on Mondays and a taco night on Saturdays. Unfortunately the bartender working those two nights just seems to get sidelined too much. If she gets tied up with friends you could wait a while to get service. The specials those nights are so good it has been worth the waits. I came in later in the evening Saturday. I ordered a drink and food. Sat for 15 minutes and my food order never came. Then it hit me that the cook was sitting at the bar and he never got the order. I asked her about my food order and she mumbled something under her breath and then I assume she put it in. The cook is awesome and friendly. He had my order out in a few minutes. That said I have a bunch of friends who go up there Fridays and Sundays because there's a beautiful bartender works there. I've stopped up a couple times and she is pretty. But, she is so efficient you don't wait 5 seconds to get your drink order in and then you never go empty. I asked my buddy who goes in Fridays and Sundays to see the other bartender to come up for the wing night Monday. He sat for over 20 minutes without this other girl taking a food order or a drink order. He got up and left. He refused to go back again whenever she was working. Same here, after tonight! read more

Totally agree with Susan H. You would think regulars would want new customers and meet new people. Majority I found to be very rude in their own world that wouldn't move 1 seat over out of pure laziness. Living here for quite some time it's the last place I would ever think of bringing friends to especially coming in the back entrance. It reminds me of an old wannabe bikers club without the bikes. The prices totally ridiculous especially for the little amount you get unless you are a regular then you will notice the difference in sizes for the amount of food on their plate verses a new customer. Seriously don't mind paying for something worth getting but when the food is disgusting or at least far from the best that will be the day I spend my hardworking money in a dive with a bunch of morons sitting around with their thumbs up their asses and definitely not having intelligent conversations OMG these people need a real life and the bar needs a complete makeover if not some very heavy scrubbing possibly might take some of the smell out. I visited this Pub while attending the Suds on Sunday event for the Dunedin Doggie Rescue. This is a super casual pub, quite dark inside and has 2 pool tables and a jukebox, I think. What I am sure of is they had some good food! I ordered a club sandwich after seeing another customer come out with this beautiful artwork of a sandwich. It really doesn't get any better than what they offer here-the ingredients were super fresh, tasty, it was a thick sandwich with tons of meat, I loved how much mayo they used, the chips were great and plentiful and I love the Claussen pickle. The whole meal rang up to $7 and the bartender that took my order was very accommodating. Next time I won't get the marble bread, just the regular white or wheat, but other than that, it was fantastic! I was glad to support the dog wash and all the dogs looking to be adopted. I LOVED THE LIVE MUSIC, TOO! Those guys were great! I will be back! read more

Rip off alert!!!! Even though the wings are amazing...I won't ever go back. We usually get 10 wings, but decided to get 20. The online menu says 20 wings are $13.95. When I went to pick them up, my bill was over $20!!! The owner told the bartender to charge us $9.95 for each 10 wings because we got two different flavors. She said that the "new" menu price for 20 is $17.95. (9.95 + 9.95 does not equal 17.95.) I asked to speak to the owner and was told "I can tell him, but he won't come out." I left a note on my credit card receipt to let him know that I'd be contacting the BBB, Chamber, etc. That business practice is against the law. I probably would have let it go if he came out to talk to us and/or honored the advertised pruce. read more
