Superb collection of beautiful local crafts. The shop itself is gorgeous and the crafts are really extraordinary. I'm glad I stopped in. The handmade wooden pen I bought there is such a luxury and it's a great conversation piece. read more

With that said, the first time I stopped in and tried to use an American swipe credit card they did not take it. The cashier at the time was a very young woman so she may not have been aware of that. After that incident, they took my swipe card just fine. They don't take Amex :( Prices at the supermarket are very good. The selection also is very good. They even had vienetta ice cream. It would be nice if they had that in America still. The prices in some cases were better than Tesco in Cork.

There was a huge selection of knit and woven goods, including some very soft blankets that were woven and felted on site. The ladies were nice and chatty as we picked what we needed and checked out. When she learned that I wanted to attempt my first knit project with one of the hanks, she even found some needles to gift me! The store handled VAT and shipping, so it was very easy to buy things and send home without worrying about customs or duty free counters at the airport.
