Initially I began with a Life Policy in June of 2017 which Eric was able to save me $1400 annually over another company for the same exact coverage with one of the big names. So when it came time to renew our auto & homeowners we compared prices and he was able to save us another $900 per year from our previous Insurance Company with more over all coverage for our home which is so important. Eric is so honest and up front and definitely will look after your best interest without trying to push un-neccessary coverage. More important when you call him he's there to answer any and all questions. You just don't get this hands on service from the bigger insurance company's where you are most likely treated like another number. So I did what any modern researcher would do: Turn to social media for answers! In response to a Facebook post, it was recommended that I give Tiffani of Gardena General Insurance a call. Working with an agent is really cool because they will shop around for rates for you, they will explain and educate you in all that confusing insurance policy lingo, they will help you decide the best coverage for you, and they will deal with the insurance company for you. I like it better than speaking with the insurance companies directly because I always felt like the insurance company is just trying to make a sale rather than being mindful of my specific needs and budget. It used to stress me out. But when Tiffani entered the picture, she made this whole process seem easy peasy! She got me the exact coverage I wanted at the rate I was willing to pay. Sweet! Here's another perk: If my coverage rate increases in the future, I can give Tiffani a call and she'll deal with the insurance company to investigate and possibly prevent the increase if she can. How awesome is it to have someone like that have your back? :D Wondering if working with an agent cost extra? Not at all! I was only charged for my auto insurance coverage - no added fees! So why not save yourself a headache and get help from an agent. Lastly, I found out that this family-owned business has been around for over 100 years which I think is pretty cool! For John and his team at YourWay Insurance though, I'd be doing the public a disservice by not telling you about my wonderful experience. I recently got a new car and needed the title changed asap (as it was going to be my commuter car); but due to my busy work schedule the DMV's 6 hour line was out of the question. So I started researching and calling local car insurance/services business, and after my third call I finally got the response I was looking for. Unlike the other businesses that said my transfer was too complicated or that they'd need to make an appointment later in the week, John picked up and immediately made me feel heard and said to drop by as soon as I had the time so he could review my paperwork. Needless to say the rest of the experience was smooth sailing, he began processing my transfer asap and within a couple of days everything was complete and my car was ready to go. He even helped me get great insurance coverage for myself and my mother at a great rate. Personally I was INTIMIDATED handling legal documents/processes because I'm a young woman with little to no experience with DMV procedures. You have to pay $10 extra to pay over the phone with a rep, $6 to pay with a robot, or wait 3 days to be approved for the option to pay online. Feels like a scam of a company and I will be looking elsewhere for car insurance. I shouldn't be charged extra because a company cannot do their job efficiently.

I clearly said no. Later, I discovered they added that same $100 fee to my renewal anyway--even though I refused it. They verbally told me a different price. They gave me a generic invoice. But somehow the cancellation fee appeared on my card's transaction statement. That's how I found out. I let it go because the overall price was still good, even with the extra $100. However, I will never return. I paid for the renewal using my Cash App card this time, so good luck trying to sneak in that cancellation fee again. Be careful with them!
