When it gets busy it looks a bit like a jumble sale and you really have to root. Think it a bit too well stocked really! There is no changing rooms - but they do have very flexible returns policy, and there are toilets not too far away where you could do your trying on.

There are also plenty of accessories too. However, it is worth noting (much to the annoyance of many customers I have noticed) that there are no changing room facilities in this Next store although you are reminded that you can take items back to any other Next store (not much good when you're planning to where it that evening and it's 6pm!). Oddly, I spotted other brands including Levis and Puma for sale here last time I visited.

Occasionally some genuine bargain will crop up but not often. I think it's more a shop for people who are more brand conscious than I am.

Of course we have our own branch in Liverpool city centre and at Speke, but it's always worthwhile looking in different branches as unlike most other chain-stores, you will always find completely different things.

They don't sell all brands, but a lot, and some of the toys are only there for a short time. For my money this isn't the best discount retailer around but worth a look if you're passing.

Set amongst a backdrop of industrial estates and motorways lies a myriad of discount stores for many big name brands. The Skechers outlet sells many of the Skechers range shoes, roughly 25% cheaper than they are in big high street shops. However, if you shop here in their sale period, you can expect to get shoes for up to 70% cheaper than they are in the shops! Meaning you can pick up a pair of decent trainers for about 20 quid. They sell Skechers famous; work out while you wear shoes for about 20 quid less than you would normally have to buy them for. You know the oddly shaped shoes for people who are too lazy to go to the gym that apparently tone up your legs and backside as you walk to McDonalds, then the pub, then home for a carry out! Worth a look if you visit Cheshire Oaks though because as with most of the shops here, they get new stock in all the time. So you're bound to come across a bargain or two if you're prepared to spend a bit of time mooching around!

I don't know how the system works as some of the stock they have was in Argos six or seven years ago (where has it been in the meantime?) but it's well worth a look. The items are good quality and have been well stored, but the shop can be very difficult to get around. There is just a massive amount of stock there, and it is often not clearly marked (plain brown boxes etc). So you may have to do some digging around, and keep your eyes peeled. You could miss some great stuff! I think the place could do with its own catalogue, but that's probably not viable considering they likely get daily deliveries of random old Argos stock. So heartily recommended, but you have to go in with either a great amount of luck or a lot of time to really get the most out of it.
