I visited this store this morning with my mother. When we got to the till the shop assistant dealing with us explained that i could not use my £5 off voucher with 10% discount. Myself and my mother recently had been on numerous day trips where we had visited other bon marche outlets and they had taken both discounts off. The assistant explained that their tills could not deal with this procedure. Fair enough!, but we explained that other branches could and we have had problems with discounting on clothing previously in this branch. My mother mentioned that she had friends that would visit other local branches of bon marche as they had had problems with this particular branch and customer service. The sales assistant that was dealing with me was reasonably professional where as her colleague was quite aggressive, retorted bring it on in response to my mother telling them others had had problems and visit other branches. In between the aggressive scowels, tutting and being told to visit other branches, no wonder people go elsewhere if that's how they are treated!!! read more
